Point Roberts is a unique geographic curiosity. This small U.S. exclave is
attached to the southern tip of Canada's Tsawwassen Peninsula, which means it's
part of the United States but not directly connected to it. To visit Point
Roberts from most places in the U.S., you need to drive through Canada.




Here’s how you’d typically get to Point Roberts: Starting from Seattle, drive
north on Interstate 5, cross into Canada at the Peace Arch border crossing near
Blaine, Washington, and continue into British Columbia. Shortly after crossing
the border, you take a highway that leads to the community of Tsawwassen in
British Columbia, and from there, head straight to another border crossing back
into Point Roberts.




The journey involves crossing two international borders, so you'll need a
passport or appropriate travel documents. It's a bit of an oddity, traveling
through another country to get to a part of your own, but that's what makes
Point Roberts a unique and interesting destination. Remember to check for any
travel advisories or border regulations before you go, especially if there are
ongoing health or security concerns.

   This place is GREAT 5 STARS! The landlord was incredibly friendly and gave
   attention to every detail and cared a lot for us. For every question: he was
   prepared and was so nice. The house as such is very beautiful und the view we
   had from the bed room was amazing. We drove 2 mins towards the beach and saw
   one of the most beautiful sunsets of our life. Would recommend 100%!

   Our stay at Ocean View Villa was extraordinary. George is a generous and
   friendly host. He greeted us to his home and oriented us to the amenities on
   the property. Our room was immaculate, spacious and clean, as was the
   kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining room, games room and lounge. The home
   is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, backing onto the gorgeous
   lagoon. The pantry and fridge were well provisioned and the breakfast was
   top-rate! Thank you George for welcoming us into your lovely home ond for our
   idyllic experience there.
