The Wiener Holocaust Library is one of the world’s leading and most extensive
archives on the Holocaust, the Nazi era and genocide. The Library’s unique
collection of over one million items includes published and unpublished works,
press cuttings, photographs and eyewitness testimony.

Family Papers collection, supported by Arts Council England funding.

EXHIBITION / FIGHTING ANTISEMITISM FROM DREYFUS TO TODAY

This timely exhibition explores the individuals, organisations and campaigns
that have fought back against antisemitism in France, Britain and Germany over
the century since the time of the Dreyfus Affair.

1 JUNE / HYBRID EVENT: TESTIMONIES OF THE FARHUD IN THE SEPHARDI VOICES UK
ARCHIVE

In this event, we will introduce the Sephardi Voices UK archive, explore
testimonies of those who lived through the 1941 pogrom, the Farhud, and discuss
the long-term effects on Baghdad’s Jewish population.

13 JUNE / VIRTUAL BOOK TALK: MODERN TIMES: THE BIOGRAPHY OF HUNGARIAN-JEWISH
FAMILY

Drawing on a wide range of historical and literary sources, as well as extended
interviews with family members and Holocaust survivors, Modern Times examines
the reality of Hungarian-Jewish life in the first half of the twentieth century.

15 JUNE / HYBRID EVENT: COME TO THIS COURT AND CRY: LINDA KINSTLER IN
CONVERSATION WITH WILLIAM SHAWCROSS

In this Hybrid Event, Linda Kinstler will be in conversation with William
Shawcross to discuss her major non-fiction debut which investigates both her
family story and the archives of ten nations to examine what it takes to move
history in our uncertain century.
