SEA SMASH

This is a painting of the Atlantic Ocean as is crashes and smashes on the west
coast.  Over the last few months  I have been working on a series of paintings
on the much more sheltered east coast, near where I live.  I have the privilege
of painting on location, based on the balcony of the Library Balcony in Wicklow
Town .  My project is supported by an arts bursary award from Wicklow Arts
Office.  High above the harbour and the narrow streets, I am happy for the
moment preparing work for my exhibition at the end of next year called  "From
the River to the Sea".
