I was a jobbing TV director and series producer, feeling increasingly
unfulfilled in my role, making entertainment and consumer affairs programming.
Frankly, I was in a bit of a rut - taking jobs that paid the bills but left me

A couple of years ago I felt something was missing from my creative diet, but I

author the kind of observational, investigative projects that really excite me.

Some of you will know what it’s like to go back into the workplace after time
