JOE BIDEN LOOKS LIKE A LOSER ON THE EVE OF HIS STATE OF THE UNION Politics MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE RAGES AT BBC REPORTER ASKING ABOUT ‘JEWISH SPACE LASERS’: ‘WHY DON’T YOU F–K OFF?’ By Isabel Keane Published March 6, 2024, 8:38 a.m. ET Firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene exploded at a BBC journalist who asked her if she believes in “Jewish space lasers” — telling the reporter to “f–k off.” The Georgia Republican initially had an amicable exchange with the BBC’s Emily Maitlis at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Super Tuesday — until asked why she and other Trump supporters appear to love conspiracy theories. Ad Advertisement “Well, let me tell you, you’re a conspiracy theorist, and the left and the media spread more conspiracy theories,” Greene shot back. “We like the truth. We like supporting our Constitution, our freedoms, and America first.” 4 Marjorie Taylor Greene quickly became angered when a British BBC journalist asked her about Jewish space lasers. @TheNewsAgents / X Advertisement Before the conservative lawmaker could walk away, Maitlis replied: “What about Jewish space lasers? Tell us about Jewish space lasers.” EXPLORE MORE AFTER YEARS OF DENIALS, HUNTER BIDEN FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGED JOE WAS ‘THE BIG GUY’ IN $5M CHINA DEAL MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE SAYS UK FOREIGN MINISTER DEMANDING US GIVE MORE AID TO UKRAINE CAN ‘KISS MY ASS’ MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE GOES TO WAR WITH LARRY DAVID AFTER COMEDIAN MOCKS GEORGIA VOTING LAWS ON ‘CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM’ Her question refers to a now-deleted 2018 Facebook rant in which Greene falsely speculated that Jewish people were to blame when a poorly maintained electrical grid sparked a California wildfire that killed 84 people. How about that? Thanks.” Advertisement At the top of the interview, Greene said fellow Republicans were encouraging GOP hopeful Nikki Haley to drop out of the presidential race ahead of Super Tuesday’s results. “Well, we’ve been encouraging her to drop out and support President Trump. And I think tonight is the clear message that President Trump is the clear front-runner. He’s the winner in our Republican primary. And it’s time for Nikki Haley to drop out and support him,” Greene said. 4 The interview started off amicably, with Greene dodging questions about whether she would like to be Trump’s VP. @TheNewsAgents / X Advertisement Greene then dodged questions about whether she might be in line for a position in a future Trump administration, telling Maitlis, “Oh, you know, that’s the question everyone asks. And no, I don’t think Nikki Haley should be on the list, but of course, President Trump will choose who he wants for VP.” “Would you like to be on that list?” Maitlis then asked. Greene laughed before telling her: “He’s got a long list. I support President Trump in any way, any way he’s ask me, but I can assure you it won’t be Nikki Haley.” Advertisement 4 Greene said Nikki Haley should not be on Trump’s list for future cabinet members. @TheNewsAgents / X What do you think? Post a comment. Haley, the former South Carolina governor and UN ambassador, will reportedly suspend her Republican presidential bid Wednesday following a series of defeats on Super Tuesday, sources told The Post. She is expected to formally announce the decision at a 10 a.m. press conference in her home state of South Carolina.
