This place was absolutely amazing!!! We ordered hibachi steak and scallops,
chicken, sushi rolls and Kani salad. We’ve been looking for a place on Long
Island ever since we’ve moved and I think this is it!!! Great food, service, and
drinks. We’ve been to so many hibachi spots from queens to Hauppauge. Number 1
spot.

You can't go wrong with this place. It's the whole picture. Fresh and quality

A friend and I came after work. We sat at the bar because we knew they closed in
an hour. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. He didn't make us feel

Midori was great, service was extremely fast and very kind, Barry was our
server, and the food was out of this world. Chicken teryaki and hibachi rice was

Update:The owners are such wonderful and kind people ever they resolved an issue
that happened with one of the servers. Thank you so much and our server today
was amazing she was kind and friendly 10/10 food was amazing as always I am glad

Went for a birthday celebration and the staff tried to make it as festive as

Very happy helpful and quick service. The place is very clean and mellow. It was
my grandma birthday dinner and the ice cream cake they brought out for you was

I had a birthday hibachi dinner here with family and for the most part the food
was good.
The hibachi chef seemed new because the show wasn’t as on-point as they normally
are but what was unusual was how he pressed down and squeezed the filet mignon
and my lobster. The juices were squeezed out of both and made them tougher
especially the lobster (the shrimps were softer). I paid premium for both and
expect them to be soft. Taste wise, everything was good.
At the end, they sang happy bday and I got a fried ice cream. Also what used to
be 50% off your meal is now only 25% but understandable.

What an amazingly fun place for an 11 our 11 year old daughter's birthday. We
had so many laughs. The food was delicious, the sushi was fresh, and we were
thoroughly entertained by Brian the Hibachi chef.
My husband is bringing our son, James next weekend to celebrate his birthday
with friends.
We will definitely make this our new Sushi/ Hibachi spot in the future.

My girlfriends and I were there to celebrate my best friend's very special
birthday and the staff and waitress could not have been more accommodating. From
the moment we were seated till we left, it was one of the top best experiences
we all had dining. The food was excellent, from the soups, seaweed salad,
tempura vegetables to the giant sushi rolls and Teriyaki angus beef cooked to
perfection.... this will now become our go to place to dine. Looking forward to

Went on a Sunday and we sat right away, staff took our empty places and refilled
our water right away. The sautéed oysters were delicious and came out hot. Our
waitress took our orders very promptly and we didn’t feel reached at all. At the
end of the night we believe the mgr to asked how everything was and if we were
there for any special occasion. Place seem pretty clean, but only giving 4 stars
bc one of the staff came out w our soup and salad and there was a gross strand
of hair hanging at the both of the tray. Lucky it wasn’t in our food but the
rouge hair almost touched my water glass.

Love their sushi and their miso is excellent, a must have! All of their rolls
feel as though they are prepared with care and taste so fresh. They have raised
their prices a bit but it’s definitely worth it (not by much either). Also one
of the only places I know on Long Island to have a Peppered Tuna ROLL and not
just peppered tuna or tuna tataki, great stuff here. This was a salmon avocado
roll with miso soup and some avocado from one of their salads pictured (with eel
and soy sauce up top).

I would give 10 stars if I could! Such a clean environment and the aesthetic was
so nice. We did a hibachi birthday party and it was fabulous! The food all came
out in good time and it was all delicious. We had the dinner package #2 which
was literally the best decision ever. Tons of yummy food, great options and
variety, and turns out to be very good deal! The staff were all super friendly
and helpful and gave one of the best restaurant “happy birthday” songs I’ve
heard in a while! Will definitely return.

First time at this place via recommendations through local Facebook group. New
to this area and we did not have a Japanese hibachi place to go to. Pleasantly
surprised here love the quaint atmosphere and very nice service. The chefs were
engaging making some little jokes but not overly annoying at all. Prices were
good. I would have given it five stars I just felt the Black Angus steak as well
as the more expensive filet mignon steak tasted very similar and could have been
a little more tender based on whatever see from other places. That all being
said I will be back and I recommend this place!

What a great place to get sushi delivered! I love how on uber eats you can
customize your sushi the way you want it! I highly reccomend this place! My only
suggestion would be to add an option to tempura that would be next level. I
reccomend the yellow tail with scallion roll!

Was slightly turned off by the 1.50 convenience fee i kept seeing when I wanted
to place a pick up order from here but figured I'd give it a try anyway. They
were rated really well and for amount food you get for lunch special couldn't
beat it at the time. Placed the order inside, paid cash to save. Disappointed in
the chicken for chicken teriyaki but veggies were good, soup and fried rice good
as well.

The steamed shrimp Shami was excellent. The dipping sauce for the rock shrimp
was also excellent. I had Miso soup and a small salad was also good. For the
main Course I had the Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura which was very good. I had
ordered brown rice with the main course. If I can make a suggestion about the
brown rice, a good Tahini sauce would be perfect for the topping on the rice. I
used to go to a place in Manhattan called Souen's that made a great Tahini
sauce. All in all, a very good restaurant.

They have only gotten better the last few years. They have amazing service, and
they are still very affordable. All my kids love coming here, so whenever we ask

I went to Midori for lunch, my first time. It was fairly busy at reduced
capacity, but I waited an unreasonable amount of time for my food, all of which
was raw. Once the tuna tower appetizer was delivered, I could see the food was
going to be good, and it was. Perhaps the sushi chefs were having an off day. I
intend to go back.

The food was great. It definitely had lots of flavor and the chef had a lot of

Tried Midori for a family member’s birthday dinner as an alternative to a
declining Hibachi restaurant we’ve frequented in the past. Happy we did.
First off, the staff was very friendly and eager to help. Didn’t realize that
they do 50% off a Hibachi entree and a free fried ice cream within a week before
and after your birthday (I’d needed) so that was a nice and unexpected surprise.
Loud singing for the birthday person is optional and we were sure to take
advantage of that and the balloon hats
Of course the food was the main star. It was delicious and plentiful, especially
the Chilean Sea Bass. This is our new go to spot for Hibachi!

A friend and I came after work. We sat at the bar because we knew they closed in

Update:The owners are such wonderful and kind people ever they resolved an issue

Went for a birthday celebration and the staff tried to make it as festive as

I had a birthday hibachi dinner here with family and for the most part the food
was good.
The hibachi chef seemed new because the show wasn’t as on-point as they normally
are but what was unusual was how he pressed down and squeezed the filet mignon
and my lobster. The juices were squeezed out of both and made them tougher
especially the lobster (the shrimps were softer). I paid premium for both and
expect them to be soft. Taste wise, everything was good.
At the end, they sang happy bday and I got a fried ice cream. Also what used to
be 50% off your meal is now only 25% but understandable.

What an amazingly fun place for an 11 our 11 year old daughter's birthday. We
had so many laughs. The food was delicious, the sushi was fresh, and we were
thoroughly entertained by Brian the Hibachi chef.
My husband is bringing our son, James next weekend to celebrate his birthday
with friends.
We will definitely make this our new Sushi/ Hibachi spot in the future.

My girlfriends and I were there to celebrate my best friend's very special
birthday and the staff and waitress could not have been more accommodating. From
the moment we were seated till we left, it was one of the top best experiences

Went on a Sunday and we sat right away, staff took our empty places and refilled
our water right away. The sautéed oysters were delicious and came out hot. Our
waitress took our orders very promptly and we didn’t feel reached at all. At the
end of the night we believe the mgr to asked how everything was and if we were
there for any special occasion. Place seem pretty clean, but only giving 4 stars
bc one of the staff came out w our soup and salad and there was a gross strand
of hair hanging at the both of the tray. Lucky it wasn’t in our food but the
rouge hair almost touched my water glass.

Love their sushi and their miso is excellent, a must have! All of their rolls
feel as though they are prepared with care and taste so fresh. They have raised
their prices a bit but it’s definitely worth it (not by much either). Also one
of the only places I know on Long Island to have a Peppered Tuna ROLL and not
just peppered tuna or tuna tataki, great stuff here. This was a salmon avocado
roll with miso soup and some avocado from one of their salads pictured (with eel
and soy sauce up top).

I would give 10 stars if I could! Such a clean environment and the aesthetic was
so nice. We did a hibachi birthday party and it was fabulous! The food all came
out in good time and it was all delicious. We had the dinner package #2 which
was literally the best decision ever. Tons of yummy food, great options and
variety, and turns out to be very good deal! The staff were all super friendly
and helpful and gave one of the best restaurant “happy birthday” songs I’ve
heard in a while! Will definitely return.

First time at this place via recommendations through local Facebook group. New
to this area and we did not have a Japanese hibachi place to go to. Pleasantly
surprised here love the quaint atmosphere and very nice service. The chefs were
engaging making some little jokes but not overly annoying at all. Prices were
good. I would have given it five stars I just felt the Black Angus steak as well
as the more expensive filet mignon steak tasted very similar and could have been
a little more tender based on whatever see from other places. That all being
said I will be back and I recommend this place!

What a great place to get sushi delivered! I love how on uber eats you can
customize your sushi the way you want it! I highly reccomend this place! My only
suggestion would be to add an option to tempura that would be next level. I

Was slightly turned off by the 1.50 convenience fee i kept seeing when I wanted
to place a pick up order from here but figured I'd give it a try anyway. They
were rated really well and for amount food you get for lunch special couldn't
beat it at the time. Placed the order inside, paid cash to save. Disappointed in
the chicken for chicken teriyaki but veggies were good, soup and fried rice good
as well.

The steamed shrimp Shami was excellent. The dipping sauce for the rock shrimp
was also excellent. I had Miso soup and a small salad was also good. For the
main Course I had the Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura which was very good. I had
ordered brown rice with the main course. If I can make a suggestion about the
brown rice, a good Tahini sauce would be perfect for the topping on the rice. I
used to go to a place in Manhattan called Souen's that made a great Tahini
sauce. All in all, a very good restaurant.

I love good sushi. Read that again. Not all sushi is good. They have fresh sushi
and it is simply fantastic. Lunch special is a steal and you can count on me
being there atleast once a month

We love Midori even thou they were very very busy we were seated in under 10
minutes without a reservation placed us at a hibachi table and we were not
ordering hibachi style food just very accommodating to our needs the Gigi
sandwich is fabulous order it every time we come here the plum wine is very
sweet and has a kick almost like saki

The food was great. It definitely had lots of flavor and the chef had a lot of
patience with my family, which I was surprised by because my family is sometimes
hard to handle. However, I can’t give the overall experience 5 stars because my
party had been waiting for nearly an hour to actually see any food in front of
us. We are hungry people. But, the people are very generous and patient so I

This place is excellent , a must go-to. The staff is incredible with their
accommodations and the length that they aspire to make the customer feel welcome
and at home. Sam (Manager) is very charming and has no limit to make you feel

This place is beyond EXCELLENT!!! Had my daughter’s engagement party here today.
The staff and owner could not have been nicer. Our friends and family could not
stop talking about what a great time they had. Sam made everything go so smooth
from the second I spoke to him and booked the party. Thank you to all the staff
an owner from Midori for such a GREAT party!!!! I give this place a 10 rating it

The best place to eat . This is our go to restaurant. We have taken every one
that we know here. Super great food for everyone’s palette. Very crowded on the
weekend best make reservations.Beautiful atmosphere. Very nice bar and bar
tender. Hospitality is amazing.

Tried Midori for a family member’s birthday dinner as an alternative to a
declining Hibachi restaurant we’ve frequented in the past. Happy we did.
First off, the staff was very friendly and eager to help. Didn’t realize that
they do 50% off a Hibachi entree and a free fried ice cream within a week before
and after your birthday (I’d needed) so that was a nice and unexpected surprise.
Loud singing for the birthday person is optional and we were sure to take
advantage of that and the balloon hats
Of course the food was the main star. It was delicious and plentiful, especially
the Chilean Sea Bass. This is our new go to spot for Hibachi!

Place was packed, very busy but only had to wait about 20 minutes. The service
was Fast and The staff was very attentive. The Sushi was fresh and delicious,
husband annoyed his steak and salmon spicy teriyaki. Everyone was very pleased
with their meals. All I heard with every bite was how much they were enjoying
it. We will be back...
