What you will be doing

We are looking for a passionate information security professional with
exceptional skills, self-motivation, and out of the box thinking. The Senior
Insider Risk Analyst, Cyber Threat Intelligence and Hunting will be working
alongside a geographically diverse team of threat intelligence, security
operations, and incident response professionals within the Cybersecurity
Operations Program. This individual will help build, lead, and grow the insider
risk program, develop strategy as part of the overall threat intelligence
program.

The individual will be part of the team directly identifying, researching, and
providing context on cybersecurity threats against Albertsons Companies. The
candidate will work with Security Operations on detection and investigation of
anomalous user activities and indicators of potential insider risks. In this
role individual will collaborate with partners across the business to drive
resolution to sensitive investigations, and partner with our information
security teams to develop and improve new capabilities.

The Information Technology Department has an opening for a Senior Insider Risk
Analyst, Cyber Threat Intelligence and Hunting. This position is located in
Phoenix, Arizona or Pleasanton, CA, or Boise, ID or Dallas, TX. (Remote
Possible)

Main responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 * Support process building of the insider risk program and alignment with the
   strategic program.
 * Develop playbooks on insider risk processes and information sharing across
   teams.
 * Develop investigation and mitigation strategies with other internal teams.
 * Collaborate with other security teams to develop insider risk capabilities.
 * Respond to detections and escalations related to insider risk.
 * Identify and collect technical and non-technical indicators to support the
   insider risk program.
 * Perform data analysis to identify patterns and trends and make
   recommendations to enhance detective and preventive controls.
 * Apply threat intelligence for proactive discovery of suspicious activity and
   prevention of future incidents.
 * Report investigations to appropriate stakeholders on potential risks and
   incident

** The salary range is $ 118,600.00 to $ 166,240.00. Starting salary will vary
based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be
flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include, medical, dental,
vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time
Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits
(such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for
a quarterly bonus. **

What we are searching for

Qualifications:

 * 4-year degree (Computer Science, Information Systems, or relational
   functional field) and/or equivalent combination of education or work
   experience.
 * At least 5 years of experience understanding the insider risk landscape and
   working on developing strategies and applying solutions to address threats.
 * At least 5 years of experience working with Insider Risk detection
   technologies and tools.
 * Experience with data collection, data mining, investigative techniques, using
   intelligence database search tools, or intelligence analysis.
 * Ability to rapidly learn and understand the application and/or impact of
   advanced and emerging technical security principles, theories, and concepts.
 * Exceptional analytical ability, communication and project management skills,
   and the ability to work effectively with clients, IT management and staff,
   vendors, and consultants.
 * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a
   matrixed organization.
 * Ability to work with teams that are geographically distributed and work
   across different time zones.

Physical Environment:

 * Work may be performed in a temperature-controlled environment.
 * Must sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.
 * May spend long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
 * Will use keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during the course
   of a normal workday.
 * Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of
   job duties.
 * Workday is fast paced; some evening and weekend work may be required.
