The terrifying ordeal took a violent turn when the ruthless robbers struck the 5-year-old girl in the face with handguns. They also pistol-whipped the 33-year-old woman, who's believed to be her mother, according to cops. Eerie surveillance video shows the men creeping into the home at 12:45 a.m. on Dec. 18. The man and boy were not harmed during the home invasion. Two of the suspects, including one who appears to be wearing a Halloween mask. Photo credit NYPD Police said the suspects made off with one item—a cellphone—before fleeing the scene. It's unclear if they targeted the family or if it was a random home invasion. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. Two of the suspects police are searching for in the robbery.
