QTFA FARM VISIT

QTFA Farm Visit

Qatar celebrates National Environment Day every February 26 of each year, as
part of its efforts to protect the environment and support sustainable
development. This year, the slogan was ‘Our Earth Our Legacy’ according to the
Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.

The day underscores the importance of protecting the environment with all its
components and natural resources, especially as Qatar National Vision 2030 has
adopted environmental sustainability as one of its four pillars to achieve
sustainable development in the country.

In order to enhance public awareness about environmental protection and showcase
the use of environmentally sound technologies, QAFCO organized a visit to Hassad
Food Farm, for employees and their families.

AFA 29TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL FORUM & EXHIBITION

AFA 29th Annual International Forum & Exhibition

QAFCO participated at the 29th AFA Annual International Forum & Exhibition in
Cairo, Egypt. The event was organized as a more advanced edition, which gathered
international experts with Arab region fertilizer producers in an attempt to
enhance the region’s competitiveness in the global market, discuss the prospect
opportunities from various perspectives as fertilizer Economics, Agriculture
Sector, logistics & Supply Chain, Renewable energy, Green Hydrogen and
investments outlook in the Arab region.

 

The theme of the conference this year was “Building Resilience to Sustainable
Food Security”.

Qatar National Sports Day 2023

In celebration of Qatar National Sports Day 2023, QAFCO employees participated
in a special fun-filled day organized at the Mesaieed Business & Recreational
Complex. The activities included fun and games for all age groups. This event
emphasizes the importance of sports and promotes awareness among members of the
community about the importance of sport and its role in the lives of individuals
and communities. It also aims to consolidate exercising sports as a daily
healthy behavior.

BLOOD DONATION DAY

Blood Donation Day

As part of social responsibility activities, a blood donation campaign was
organized by QAFCO in coordination with Hamad Medical Cooperation. The campaign
was organized at the Gate Mall and was open to the public. Over 35 eligible
donors were received throughout.
