Hi Ladies, If, like us, you are concerned about the state of the planet and the
high levels of pollution around us, you have come to the right place. Around the
world, there is a growing movement of people who recognise the harm we are
causing to the planet through our modern consumer-based lifestyles. This group
is seeking alternate ways to lead a more sustainable and earth-friendly
lifestyle, a lifestyle that follows the principle of the three R’s - Reduce,
Reuse and Recycle. With plastic waste being one of the key forms of pollution
affecting our planet, people are increasingly turning away from plastic-based
products, and towards more natural, biodegradable ones. Did you know that the
modern sanitary pad consists almost entirely of plastic? Yes, that’s roughly 95%
of it, and according to some reports, it is even said be the equivalent of 5
plastic shopping bags! So let's do the math: Take one woman having her period.
Let's say it lasts for say, 5 days. This gives us a total of 5 plastic bags/day
x 5 days, or a whopping 25 plastic bags for just one period! If this is just one
1 women, it becomes to scary to imagine what this must mean for all menstruating
