Olympian Katie Archibald, the partner of Scottish mountain bike champion Rab
Wardell who died yesterday, shared how she desperately tried to resuscitate him.
The Team GB star attempted to revive the 37-year-old after he suffered a cardiac
arrest while lying in bed next to her at their home in Glasgow. His tragic death
on Tuesday morning came just two days after he won the Scottish Cross Country
Championship at Kirroughtree Forest near Newton Stewart, Wigtownshire. This
morning the Olympic gold medalist broke her silence to share how she 'tried and
tried' to save him and that her heart 'stopped' with his. She tweeted: 'I think
you've heard that Rab died yesterday morning. 'I still don't understand what's
happened; if this is real; why he'd be taken now – so healthy and happy.'

herself'. The Duchess of Sussex released her long-awaited Archetypes podcast
yesterday in the form of a conversation with her close friend, tennis great
Serena Williams. But Celia Walden in the Telegraph said it was 'an interview
with this inspirational sporting figure in name only', and that Meghan was
'interviewing herself'. She also said the Duchess was the sort of person 'who
hijacks every distressing anecdote with one of their own - only theirs is longer
drawn-out, more distressing'. The Spectator's columnist Steerpike said it was
'hard to believe that it took 28 people, including eight executive producers, to
make the episode - plus Meghan'. The review added that tennis enthusiasts who
listen to the podcast to hear from Williams 'might be a bit disappointed'
because it 'is in fact all about Meghan'. And James Marriott in The Times

during WWII. It lodged the female staff of the Bletchley Listening Center, home
of the Enigma decoder. The Enigma decoder was a cipher machine used by
mathmatician Alan Turning to crack the Lorenz cipher, used by the Nazis in WWII
to hide their messages from the British. 8,000 women were employed at the
Bletchley Listening Center, nicknamed the Wrens, and operated the computers used
for breaking the codes. Their work was integral to the war effort. To this day
an underground bomb shelter remains on the property, near the rear of the
garden.

A stunning historic estate near the Yorkshire Coast that survived an attack from
a notorious American pirate is now for sale for £1.6 million. The Rolston Hall
estate, which dates back nearly 700 years, sits on a 10-acre ground in the small
hamlet of Rolston, about one mile from the coastal town of Hornsea. The property
features the over 7,000 square-foot Rolston Hall manor and touts 13 bedrooms,
six bathrooms and another additional six rooms. It includes the detached Hall
Cottage, a separate period house set in its own private garden. Rolston Hall
maintains its privacy through its substantial 10-acre grounds and long
driveways. It has beautifully landscaped gardens that include a significant
portion of the original moat that surrounded the house. The country estate was
owned by William Brough, the Marshall of the High Court of Admiralty, in the
1700s. Mr Brough was charged with eradicating piracy. This invited hatred from
pirates, namely American privateer, Paul Jones. Mr Jones fired a salvo on
Rolston Hall, marking his hatred of its owner. Mr Brough had issued an order to
hang him as a pirate if he were captured.

A mum-of-two has shared a unique way to roll the sleeves on a blazer using an
everyday beauty product - but not everyone's convinced. Chantel Mila, better
known as Mama Mila on TikTok, demonstrated the simple hack using a hair tie in a
now-viral video. While wearing a beige blazer, she places the hair tie around

seconds before she dove into the deep end of a pool in Chatworth, Ontario. She
