Shelly is an American world traveler with a degree in Global Studies and a
passion for wildlife and culture. O.D. has over 8 years experience as a tour
guide with extensive knowledge of Kenya and the Maasai Mara. With our combined
experience, dedication, and our unique blend of international perspective we
ensure you’ll have an authentic and unforgettable adventure! 

We also own our own land cruiser which has been customized with changing
windows, a pop-up top and charging stations (for your phone or camera)
throughout. So, sit back and enjoy the ride as we explore the wonders of the
wild.

   We go beyond just driving you to places. With Smiling Maasai, we immerse you
   into authentic culture immersion experiences. Samuel (O.D.) is a Maasai so we
   visit some of his family's traditional homes, hike "into the bush", have a
   Maasai home cooked meal, shoot bows, throw spears, and visit some local
   shops. These experiences are as real and enriching as they come.

 * Expert Guides with Unique Perspectives
   
   With most companies you only have your driver as your tour guide. With us,
   you'll have two guides where Shelly's attention is all on you and making sure
   everything runs smoothly.

 * Commitment to Community and Sustainability
   
   Almost every adventure (except our 6 day) includes a humanitarian project,
   allowing you to contribute positively to the local community. Tour companies
   do not do projects like this - only humanitarian groups. Usually we take
   school supplies to a local school in order to leave a lasting impact,
   fostering sustainability and community growth.
