Do not buy this strainer if you want to wash small items or grains like rice,
quinoa, etc. The mesh meets the circular ring on its outside, so small grains
can get stuck in there between the mesh and the ring, and become hard to remove.
Unexpected DESIGN FLAW for this basic kitchen element with 4.5 stars. Take a
look at some other brands at a store, and you can see how the mesh is blended
with the circular ring so there is no way anything can get stuck, and u can just
hit this thing couple of time on the kitchen sink to remove anything u are
washing.

hot water might bring it back to it's original, proper shape. But no luck. Since

I purchased these strainers one month ago and have used the set a few times a
week since receiving them. There was a small dent in the mesh on the rounded
bottom of the largest strainer, but I was able to reshape it by pushing it out
with my fingers. The largest strainer has been used to wash rice, fruits, and
vegetables. The medium one has been used to sift flour and dry baking
ingredients. The smallest one has been used to dust deserts with powdered sugar
and cocoa. Overall, I am satisfied with the versatility of this set and have not
had any issues with cleaning these strainers by hand.

These strainers are fantastic, they are made of a nice strong mesh that doesn't
bend too easily and have a nice and smooth stainless steel frame. Made the
mistake of leaving them in the sink with some other dishes for a few hours and
came back to rusty spots forming on them quite quickly, the rust buffed off with
a good scrub. Just don't leave these wet and you won't have any problems with
these!

para ollas de diferentes tamaños y para poder colar todo tipo de platillos.
El diseño es muy sencillo, lo que significa que es fácil limpiarlo. Las pestañas
permiten colocarlo con seguridad sobre cualquier olla del diámetro adecuado y la
malla es suficientemente fina para detener semillas de limón, de guayaba, de
tuna, etc. (aprox un poco más grandes que 1x1 mm, pero más pequeños que 2x2 mm).

Para ser Cuisinart me decepcionaron. El primer paquete llego roto y los anillos
de acero inoxidable tenían lo que aparentaban ser manchas de agua. Al revisarlos
con más cuidado, un colador venia oxidado por la parte trasera y al llegar mi
reemplazo, el segundo set tampoco venia impecable pero considerablemente mejor.
Había un par de detalles en los anillos pero era algo menor y honestamente nada
que afecte el desempeño de los coladores.
Otro detalle que noté es que después de la primera lavada con una esponja no
abrasiva el estampado "Cuisinart" se desvaneció considerablemente. Al comparar
el colador con los otros dos la diferencia era muy clara así que el logo
terminara de borrarse en todos bastante rápido. De nuevo, nada que afecte el
funcionamiento del producto pero si eres de los que le gusta tener todas sus
cosas impecables, este producto no es para ti.
