We pride ourselves on providing a personal service using modern systems and up-to-date knowledge. Our aim is to assist business owners achieving their goals, so that they can focus on developing their business. We do this by offering a flexible service that meets your needs. Our services vary from simply meeting the legal obligations of an individual or business to providing a support network that can integrate with your business. Our fee structure means you can pick the level of support and service that fits within your budget and 'bolt on' additional services as and when you need them. Company formation We can set up and register your new company at Companies House and HMRC ready to begin trading. Self-assessment tax returns and planning We provide a hassle-free service which ensures your legal obligations are met in a timely manner. We eliminate the worry and guarantee that you pay the correct amount of tax. Landlords and rental property The goalposts constantly move for landlords and there is soon to be a Making Tax Digital requirement too. We offer full support and tax planning to ensure your legal responsibilities are met and that you are structured correctly. Limited Companies and Corporation tax We complete and file your Limited Company accounts at HMRC and Companies House, meeting the accounting standards. We carefully plan your company circumstances to ensure your company pays the correct amount of tax, whilst meeting legal obligations. Bookkeeping We have a team of in-house bookkeepers who will keep your accounting records up to date using the latest technology. All bookkeeping is reviewed by Chartered Accountants and managed internally, so that the business owner has access to up-to-date, accurate figures to assist with business decisions. VAT We ensure your VAT returns are submitted, legal obligations met, and the correct VAT paid or received. Alongside the VAT returns, we adhere to the new Making Tax Digital legislation and produce our VAT returns with Making Tax Digital compliant software. Payroll Our sister company, Jellyfish Payroll, will cover all your payroll needs. Whether that is raising payslips, payroll advice, pension set-up, paying wages or dealing with HMRC, we’ve got you covered. Software support Our preferred cloud-based accounting software is Xero. We have qualified Xero staff to provide a high level of support. We also have knowledge of other accounting software and can assist should you need it. FD services Smaller businesses often cannot afford to have a full time, internal Finance Director. We offer a flexible solution to fit with the budget of a business. If you need that support, we are here to help. Management accounts and forecasting We can provide management accounts as you require them, together with budgeting and forecasting. We offer this as a bolt on service, meaning you only pay for what you need/use. Business advice We are here to help. Inheritance tax planning Succession planning in advance of you passing away will mean your finances are in order and your beneficiaries do not have to pay more tax than they should.
