Welcome to Spartan Equestrian
Spartan Equestrian Products is a family business run by brother and sister Grant
and Allison and Mum Iris.

From an early age both children took riding lessons, at the ages of 7 and 10 got
their first ponies and have been hooked on horses ever since !

With a fashion designing mother and a tailoring father making fabulous clothing
for them and their ponies to wear it was inevitable that when the children left
school their parents manufacturing business would change from children’s wear
into equestrian ! Spartan Equestrian Products started supplying equestrian
retailers in 1983.

Now Allison and Grant split their time between travelling the country visiting
their customers and sourcing new products for the season ahead. Iris is kept
very busy in her “retirement” overseeing the factory, ordering fabrics and
materials and designing new lines.

Although they have had horses with them constantly (once they arrive, they stay!
) both Grant and Allison have been out of the saddle for quite a few years.
