The ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and speak with confidence
is an invaluable tool. Join one of the leading presenting and communications
trainers on this interactive training course to help you develop your
presentation and verbal speaking skills.

OBJECTIVES:

PREPARATION:

 * Learn the best way to prepare a talk in order to maximise your creativity
 * Learning to collect ideas for future talks, saving time and energy
 * Researching the presentation’s key points
 * Producing a work presentation from scratch (including a very easy technique
   for planning when time is short)
 * Looking at your style & content in relation to your intended audience
 * Job or promotion interview presentation preparation
 * Preparation prior to a key work meeting

DELIVERY:

 * Do’s and don’ts from a pro
 * Using your voice better
 * Basic body language tips when speaking
 * What to do with your hands when speaking
 * Using the “stage” or meeting room to your advantage
 * How to sell yourself and your ideas in a work meeting with great impact and
   clarity
 * Understanding what pre-speaking anxiety really is
 * Calming nerves and building self-confidence through better thought patterns
 * Developing bespoke, practical and down to earth pre-speaking routines

TRAINING OUTCOMES:

 * Plan and prepare presentations better
 * Understand the pitfalls of poorly prepared and delivered presentations
 * Learn to avoid ‘death-by-powerpoint’
 * Produce a more professional presentation
 * Deliver and speak upfront at work with greater personal confidence

 * Understand how to deal with anxiety better, prior to speaking
 * Draw up a personal action plan of skills to be practised further
