This decision was reached due to finances and administrative issues we encountered with the Florida State Department of Economic Opportunity. However, while this process is suspended, there are options open to us. At the November 2022 meeting, three options were discussed and one was accepted. LALLOA will be forming a new Entity/Org under the LALLOA umbrella to manage secured access to the Lakes and collect income by charging for keys to the boat ramps until such time as the MRTA Revitalization process is completed. This option would be voluntary and lake access would continue to be restricted to the Lake Lot Owners. For further details click here where you will find an outline of why LALLOA started the Revitalization process, what has happened in the past 2 years as well as details on the option selected. Information about membership into the new Lake Lot Owners Access & Privacy Organization will be mailed to all Lake Lot Owners in April 2023. The organization’s Charter is available when you click here. You are encouraged to attend the monthly board meetings where your questions can be addressed. Additionally, you can email your questions to LakeasburyLOA@gmail.com. Our community consists of three lakes; Lake Asbury, South Lake Asbury, and Lake Ryan. Each of these lakes are open and available to any and all residents living on a waterfront lot. Access to these lakes are available through your back yard or by using your ‘boat ramp’ key. The lock on the gate next to Lake Ryan opens with your boat ramp key as well. You may fish, canoe, or kayak on Lake Ryan anytime. Although NO motorboats are allowed on Lake Ryan, electric trolling motors are permitted!! Enjoy your community!! Here is a look at upcoming events planned for OUR community. Save the Dates!
