Started August 4, 2024 Signatures: 9Next Goal: 10 9 10 Signatures Next Goal Support now Sign this petition WHY THIS PETITION MATTERS Started by The players of Khyber My personal experience as a previous member of Baatezu has given me insight into the truly harmful behaviors of an individual named Jummby within the server of Khyber. The lengths Jummby would go to belittle and antagonize other players were shocking. The use of personal insults about people's appearances/IRL struggles, comments of substance abuse, blatant racism, and sexism were common. When called out for his actions he would boot and fabricate rumors about those who would confront him. He truly created issues for community members he took issue with. It is with this experience that the change I am advocating becomes personal. Jummby has cultivated an extremely unpleasant atmosphere for Khyber players. His tendencies to stir up controversy on the forums, and then position himself as the victim, demonstrates a manipulative nature that is harmful to our community. Scarily, he encourages exclusivity, urging individuals to ostracize specific members from the community LFMS, sending tells to have members of specifics guilds or names kicked. His actions are not merely irritating—they are damaging. The gaming community is meant to be a place of enjoyment and camaraderie. Instead, Jummby's behaviors have caused it to morph into a place of ill-feeling and hostility. This is not the environment our community should be promoting. We are left with a toxic individual who seems to thrive off the discomfort and disunity of others. However, this situation is not beyond rectifying. The alteration starts by holding Jummby accountable. By doing so, we can start to rebuild a community that has been frayed due to one individual's poisonous actions. By signing this petition, you are supporting a healthier server climate, denouncing toxic behaviors, and standing up against players like Jummby, By signing this petition you are agreeing that jummbys behaviors are egregious in nature, and that the only acceptable punishment is for jummby to be banned from DDO for multiple violations of the DDO ToS.
