Skip to the content CONFIDENTIAL: UPDATE ON UNDERGROUND CHURCH IN CHINA This story may shock you. But you need to know what is going on in the underground church in Communist China. From released prisoners who witnessed his torture and interrogation in prison, Chih-Ming’s amazing story began to spread throughout the Underground Church and has already resulted in many Chinese souls coming to Christ. Chih-Ming’s journey into the ranks of persecuted Christians in the underground Church actually began decades ago. “Growing up in a communist country, I didn’t believe in God; I thought it was like a story, not true,” Chih-Ming explained. In 1990, a Chinese man named Chang, gave a Bible to Chih-Ming. “He told me, ‘This book is very good. You take it home to look at it,’” Weihan recounted. “Because he was a new believer, he didn’t know how to preach Gospel; but he told me, ‘It’s good. You need a Bible. You need the Gospel.’” Five years later, at a Christmas prayer meeting, Chih-Ming and his wife placed their faith in Jesus and were baptized the following year. Over the next decade, Chih-Ming founded a house church and began printing Bibles underground. He also translated Christian books and distributed them into the underground church. Think of it! From that ONE BIBLE, given to ONE communist Chinese, the Power of the Word of God took hold in Chih-Ming’s heart; and from that ONE Bible, Chih-Ming surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and began printing and distributing thousands of Bibles and Christian literature; and then those Bibles being multiplied thousands even tens of thousand times to feed the milk of God’s Word to tens of thousands of new converts throughout the underground Church!!! This is God’s plan of multiplication. God Almighty promised to Abraham: And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Genesis 26:4-5 God has given you and me that very same promise for Bibles for China—if we meet His requirements. We have seen down through the years how God would take one Bible, even one page from the Bible, and multiply that seed of Truth ten thousand by ten thousands.
