The pandan leafs add a unique flavour and the coconut flower sugar a lovely caramelly sweetness. SAMBALADO Rica-Rica – the floral If our «Merah» is too simple for you: This is the flowery, intense and complex version of a red sambal. SAMBALADO Ijo – the green A unique mildly spicy combination of green chili and green tomatoes. Doesn’t contain any garlic or onions! Nevertheless fun to eat. GOOD TO KNOW Our Sambal is vegetarian-friendly and without MSG, vinegar or refined sugar. We produce Sambalado fresh in small batches. It can take a few days to ship. Keep it in the fridge, it’s a fresh product. Unopened, it will keep for several months. Once opened, use quickly, always use a clean spoon and keep the top covered with oil to make it last better. DO GOOD For our first 140 jars, we’ve donated 5.– for every jar sold to YOAM – Childhood Cancer Foundation Medan. A non-profit organization in Medan – Sumatra, Indonesia. Right now we are looking into other projects in Indonesia we can support. We will let you know when we’re adding donations to the price again. NIDA Created the recipes and is the chef. Born and raised in Sumatra, she missed the great Sambal from back home. JONAS Helps with scaling the recipe to a «real production» and chops chili and pandan. NICK Created the design and manages the website and distribution.
