NDIS THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT SERVICES

NDIS Therapeutic Support Services provide tailored therapy to those living with
a disability. This includes physical, occupational, speech and psychological
therapies, which aim to improve the individual’s quality of life and enable them
to reach their full potential.


COMMUNITY NURSING CARE

NDIS Community Nursing Care is a program that provides qualified nurses to
people with disabilities, chronic health conditions, and/or mental health
issues. It is designed to assist individuals to achieve their goals, improve
their quality of life, and maintain their independence.


EX PHYS PERS TRAINING

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Exercise Program supports people
with a disability to achieve their personal goals through participation in
physical activity. The program provides access to quality exercise programs
tailored to individual needs and abilities.


NDIS INNOV COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION

NDIS Innov Community Participation is an initiative that aims to engage people
with disability and their families, carers, and support coordinators in the

WHAT ARE NDIS SERVICES?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing
disability support and funding for Australians with a disability. The NDIS
provides funding for reasonable and necessary support that helps a person with a
disability to achieve their goals and participate in the community.

VEHICLE MODIFICATION

Vehicle modification includes the installation of, or changes to, equipment in a
vehicle to enable a participant to travel safely as a passenger or to drive.

SPECIALISED DISABILITY ACCOMODATION

SDA refers to accomodation for people who require specialist housing solutions,
including to assist with the delivery of supports that cater for their exteme
functional impairment or very high support needs who meet specific eligibility
criteria.


CUSTOM PROSTHETICS

Prescription and manufacture of customised prostheses or orthoses requiring
specialist skills.


HOME MODIFICATION

Assessment, therapy, training, fitting and any approved travel to deliver
support. Therapeutic supports are provided to assist participants aged from 7
years to apply their functional skills to improve participation and independence
in daily, practical activities in areas such as language and communication,
personal care, mobility and movement, interpersonal interactions and community
living.





CORE




ASSIST PRODUCTS-PERS CARE/SAFETY

Assisting with, and/or supervising, personal tasks of daily life to develop
skills of the participant to live as autonomously as possible. Products for
personal care or safety including beds and pressure mattresses, toilet and
bathroom equipment, specialised clothing and continence needs


INTERPRET/TRANSLATE

Interpreting and translation focuses on assistance to the participant to enable
independent communication in essential personal, social or community activities
where translation is not available from a mainstream service.


ACCOMODATION / TENANCY

Support is provided to guide, prompt or undertake activities to ensure the
participant obtains and/or retains appropriate accommodation. May include
assisting to apply for a rental tenancy or to undertake tenancy obligations


HOUSEHOLD TASKS

Performing essential house and/or yard activities that the participant is not
able to undertake. Essential tasks that the participant is not able to
undertake: meal preparation and delivery, house or yard maintenance, cleaning
and linen)


ASSIST-TRAVE / TRANSPORT

Includes rental of adapted vehicle.

What funding am I able to get entry to if i have a disability?

If you meet the requirements, you may be able to access funding from the
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Can I access disability services in my own home?

Yes! We can provide NDIS and disability support services in your own home. These
include therapy services, community nursing care , specialised disability
accommodation and personal mobility equipment.

What happens if I am not eligible for the NDIS?

If you are not eligible for NDIS funding, you may be able to access funding from
other sources or self-fund your services.
