ABOUT.


RISING ABOVE CHALLENGES

My journey is one of true resilience and transformation. From navigating the
tough streets in my youth to facing a pivotal two years incarcerated, each
chapter of my life has sculpted my character and resolve. These experiences,
combined with the discipline and honor I embraced in the U.S. Marine Corps,
including a tour in Iraq, have forged me into the leader I am today.

During my time in the Marines, mainly while serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom,
I learned invaluable lessons about leadership, sacrifice, and the potential
within each of us. These experiences became the bedrock of my approach to life
and work.

As a proud advocate for the Riverside Hawks, I channel these diverse life
lessons into empowering the next generation. We uphold the ABCs: Academics,
Basketball, and Community, which is more than a motto — it’s our holistic
approach to nurturing youth, ensuring they have the tools, guidance, and
opportunities to succeed.

My Dedication to youth development led me to author “The Leadership Academy:
Building Character in the Classroom, on the Court, and in the Community.” This
work, serving as our Leadership Academy’s curriculum, imparts vital leadership
traits, aiding our student-athletes in becoming tomorrow’s leaders and embracing
the power of values-based living.

Through a path marked by adversity, triumph, and transformation, I have turned
my life’s lessons into a mission: ensuring today’s youth receive the mentorship,
resources, and support they need. If you share this Vision or are interested in
