How can I keep track of my shipment?


There is the option of manually tracking each shipment with a tool dedicated to
each mode of transportation, but with Via Cargo, tracking is done in one method
alone, independent of the kind of shipment — proactive tracking. Our transport
agent will keep you informed on the progress of your shipment and any important
statuses via email, SMS, or phone. We'll keep track of your shipment at every
stage and keep you updated.

Why do I need to clear my cargo through Customs? Do I have to pay an additional
fee?


For freight crossing international boundaries, customs clearance is needed by
law. The EU space is an exception, where cargo can freely move between
countries. Our estimates include brokerage services, however you must pay the
VAT and duty owed by your firm for importing cargo directly to the Customs
department.





The value of the goods and the value of the transportation are applied to the
VAT and duty for a specific product. Our expertise can assist you with
determining the correct HTC for your cargo and estimating the amounts due to the
authorities in advance. DDP clearance is available for an additional fee and
commission.

How do you calculate my shipment's charged weight?


Establishing the higher between physical weight and volumetric weight is a
frequent approach in charging the weight of your package. While the physical
weight of the cargo is calculated by simply weighing it, the volumetric weight
is determined by multiplying the cargo's dimensions (L x l x h) and the mode of
transit.

What factors should I consider while selecting a transportation service for my
cargo?


A number of elements must be considered while selecting the best transportation
method, including cargo value, necessary delivery speed, route, cargo size, and
weight.
