WILD HEART CLINIC

Wild Heart Clinic opened in Bassett, Nebraska. It started off as a family and
friend-owned business, but eventually grew to a larger vet care facility. As it
grew, family and friends was not enough to take care of all the animals, so we
put out ads in the town newspaper and a poster for hire. Now we have 30 people
working to take great care of your animals!






HISTORY OF WILD HEART CLINIC

In 1935 Great Grandpa Rick had discovered an interest in animal care and dreamed
of opening a vet clinic. Although that dream was never achieved then, it was
accomplished in 2017. Jake Hays followed his grandfathers dream and opened Wild
Heart Clinic to help the animals of Bassett, Nebraska. As the clinic grew so did
the family that works there. Our Veterinary clinic is a mixed vet practice
specializing in companion animals, pocket pets, exotics, and livestock that can
include horses and cattle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 









































FACILITIES

At our facility, we take pride in offering comprehensive care for all animals.
Our top-notch services include dental cleanings, extractions, and periodontal
treatments to keep your pet's oral health in top condition. Our grooming
services range from a simple bath and brush to a full-service spa day, complete
with nail trimming, ear cleaning, and a stylish haircut.

We offer room and board for animals who require extended stays, with comfortable
accommodations and personalized attention from our experienced staff. Our
consultants are available to answer any questions you may have about your pet's
care, behavior, nutrition, and more.

In addition to routine procedures, we also offer specialized surgical services
to address more complex health issues. Our ICU care unit is equipped with the
latest technology and staffed by skilled professionals who provide
round-the-clock monitoring and support. We offer a wide range of treatments,
such as chemotherapy, laser therapy, and physical therapy, to help your pet
recover and thrive.

Lastly, we have a separate building dedicated to the specialized care of large
animals. Our expert team is equipped to handle everything from routine checkups
to emergency surgeries for your large animal companions.
