Hello! Thank you for taking a look at my website.

I hope the information here answers your questions. Please feel free to contact

I have worked as a maths teacher in the independent and state sectors  for over
twenty years.  During that time I also tutored students privately , it is
astounding how much more progress students can make with regular and individual
tuition. In 2020 I decided to leave the classroom to concentrate on offering
on-line tuition on a full time basis. I tutor students from Year 6 to Year 11.

My experience ranges from teaching Year 1 numeracy to adult learners taking
their Maths GCSE for the first time.  Predominantly my experience is in teaching
maths to  years 7 – 11.  I have a First Class Honours degree in Primary
Education specialising in Mathematics, so I fully understand the methods that
are used to teach maths these days.  I also have an Open University Certificate
in Mathematics and a gained a Distinction in Developing Algebraic Thinking at
Key Stage 3.





You may have short or long-term maths goals. You may want to commit to a regular
time every week, or you might just need some help with a particular topic or
homework that you are finding tricky.  I am happy to help with either, there is
no obligation to commit to a long term plan.
