I recently returned from a celebratory trip to Paris, France with my mom, sister
and sister-in-law to celebrate my sister, Sarah’s, 40th birthday. To say it was
a memorable trip would be an understatement! It isn’t often the girls get to
travel together sans kids and especially sans husbands! It was really special
for us to get some one-on-one girl time in The City of Light.
We knew we wanted an apartment vs. a hotel this trip for the convenience of
having common areas like a kitchen and living room to drink our coffee together
in the mornings and to stock the kitchen with goodies from the local market for
down time between activities. We love to emerge ourselves in the city we are
visiting to get a true feel of what it would be like to actually live there and,
in my opinion, only an apartment can truly make you feel like you are living
like a Parisian.
I have followed Paris Perfect on Instagram for sometime for their inspiring
images of the city and perfectly styled apartments so I knew just where to start
for our apartment search. Paris Perfect has over three dozen apartments in the
City of Lights covering every neighborhood, size and price point so there is
literally something for everyone.

thought it would be helpful to save all our paint colors for you in one easy to
access place. A huge thank you to Jennifer Barron Interiors who helped me
finalize all our paint colors when I was 9 months pregnant with Millie and all
the exterior whites were making my head spin! I don’t even think I sampled
Millie’s pink or the white Alabaster we used in most of the house, I just knew I

When we moved into our new home back in the spring of 2020, I had a newborn baby
and two kids being homeschooled due to Covid lockdowns. Needless to say, it was
overwhelming and I was anxious to get organized and settled into our new home. I
hired a professional organizer, Vision & Hammer, and she helped me get the
kitchen and pantry unpacked and labeled. I was obsessed with her label maker! I
loved how you could pick your favorite fonts and specific sizes for each
individual container to match the space perfectly. Since then, I have always
wanted a Cricut of my own!
It has been more than a year now since I first learned about the Cricut and I
finally purchased one! I have several new projects around the house now that
Millie has outgrown all her babies items and I am working on a more organized
system to save the kid’s school work. I feel like a giddy little kid every time
I make a pretty label with our new Cricut! I always did get so excited for new
school supplies!
I love our local Walmart for all my crafting and home organizing needs! The
Cricut would make such a unique and thoughtful gift for even the hardest person
to shop for. Be sure to check out Walmart’s curated selection of the best home
gift ideas for a special present for everyone on your list! Don’t wait this year
to start shopping, I am trying to get everyone on my list checked off so I don’t
let the the stress of shipping and supply chain issues ruin our holiday joy.
