INTEGRATE RPC INTO METAMASK USING METASCHOOL RPCS WITH THESE STEPS

Ensure MetaMask is installed and configured before adding your desired network.
If new to MetaMask, follow a quick installation guide

METHOD 1: INTEGRATE HOLESKY INTO METAMASK VIA METASCHOOL


1. Choose the desired RPC URL, then click on "Add to Metamask" from the sticky
menu.



2. A pop-up will appear in MetaMask asking for permission to add the site to
your network. Click "Approve" to proceed.



3. To switch to the chosen network, simply click "Switch."



And just like that, you've successfully added a network to your MetaMask Wallet
via Metaschool RPCs. Quick and easy, isn't it?

METHOD 2: MANUALLY ADD HOLESKY TO YOUR METAMASK APP


1. Use the provided information (Network name, RPC URL, Chain ID, Currency
Symbol) to add the network manually.



2. Open MetaMask.

3. Click the circle icon at the top right, then select "Settings." Navigate to
"Networks" and click "Add Network."



4. If your desired network isn't listed, scroll to the bottom and choose "Add a
Network Manually."



5. Input the Network Name, RPC URL, Chain ID, and Currency Symbol. The
Blockchain Explorer field can be left blank.



6. Paste the values from the provided information and click "Save" to add the
network.

7. You'll receive a success message prompting you to switch to the newly added
network. Switch to it, and you'll see it displayed at the top middle of the app.


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

SWITCHING NETWORKS ON METAMASK IS EASY



 1. Open your MetaMask extension or app.
 2. Click on the network name displayed at the top middle of the interface.
 3. A dropdown menu will appear listing available networks. Select the network
    you want to switch to.
 4. MetaMask will automatically switch to the chosen network, and you're all
    set!
 5. That's it! You've successfully switched networks on MetaMask.

WHY IS HOLESKY NOT SHOWING ON METAMASK?



Not all networks are automatically listed on the MetaMask interface. This is
because the app only displays networks that are commonly used by the community.

If you want to add a network that is not listed on MetaMask, you can add it
**manually or via Metaschool** by following the steps mentioned earlier. Just
make sure to carefully enter the correct details for the network.

DOES METAMASK SUPPORT MULTIPLE CHAINS?



Yes, MetaMask supports multiple chains or networks, including Ethereum, Binance
Smart Chain, Polygon, and many more. When you create a new MetaMask wallet, it
is automatically set up to work with the Ethereum network. However, you can
easily switch between different networks by selecting the network you want.

In addition to the default networks, you can also add custom networks to
MetaMask by providing the network's details such as the network name, RPC URL,
chain ID, symbol and block explorer URL as mentioned above. This allows you to
use MetaMask with other blockchains that are not listed by default.

HOW TO ADD HOLESKY RPC TO METAMASK VIA METASCHOOL RPCS?

Before adding your network, you will need to have MetaMask set up on your web
browser or phone. If this is your first time, check out this easy guide on
installing MetaMask

There are two ways to do this - the easier way is to add Holesky RPC via
Metaschool by clicking on the “Add to MetaMask” button below. The second way is
to add manually. Steps for both have been detailed below.

STEPS TO ADD HOLESKY TO METAMASK WALLET VIA METASCHOOL

 1. Whichever RPC URL you want to add, click on “Add to MetaMask” in front of it
 2. A pop up on MetaMask will appear. You will be asked if it’s okay to add the
    site to your network. Click on “Approve” and proceed to the next page.
 3. Now to make a switch to the chosen network, click on “Switch”.

There you have it, you will have successfully added a network to your MetaMask
Wallet via Metaschool RPCs. Quick, right?


ADD HOLESKY ON THE METAMASK APP MANUALLY

If you are not able to do it, here is a manual way.

STEPS TO ADD HOLESKY TO METAMASK MANUALLY

 1. We will use the above mentioned information on Network name, RPC URL, Chain
    ID and Currency Symbol to add the network manually.
 2. Open MetaMask.
 3. Go to the top right circle icon, find where it says Settings, click on it.
    Now located where it says Networks, select that and click on where it says
    “Add Network”.
 4. You will be redirected to another page listing down several networks. If you
    don’t find your chosen network there, scroll down to the bottom of the page
    where it says “Add a Network Manually”. Click on it.
 5. You’ll be taken to a page that asks for Network Name, RPC URL, Chain ID and
    Currency Symbol. You can skip out the Blockchain Explorer field.
 6. Copy the values from the box above and paste them in the empty fields. Then
    hit “Save”. You will have successful added your choice of network to
    MetaMask manually.
 7. The success message will ask you to switch to your successfully added choice
    of network. Switch to it and when you can check on the top middle of the
    app, your network will be added.


HOW TO SWITCH NETWORKS ON METAMASK

Switching networks can be important because only a few interoperable tokens
exist in crypto today. Because MetaMask was essentially created to interact with
the Ethereum blockchain, it has Ethereum as a default network wallet when you
first download MetaMask.

 1. Open your MetaMask Wallet extension/appp. Click on the mid top of the app
    where it mentions your default network i.e. Ethereum Mainnet.
 2. Drop down and select your choice of network.
