Ivanhoe Mines is a Canadian mining company focused on advancing its three
principal joint-venture projects in Southern Africa: the development of major
new, mechanized, underground mines at the Kamoa-Kakula copper discoveries in the
Democratic Republic of Congo and at the Platreef

operational greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 and 2) at the Kamoa-Kakula Copper
Mine when large-scale electric, hydrogen and hybrid underground mining equipment
become commercially available. Ivanhoe also is exploring for new copper
discoveries on its Western Foreland exploration licences in the Democratic
Republic of Congo, near the Kamoa-Kakula Project.

evolving and interconnected world of fuels & metals. Fuels have long defined the
term “Energy”, but this is being rapidly changed by the battery, the energy
source for the 21st century. What is little known, however, is how a battery is
sourced. Simply put they are sourced from metals, but the full story goes a lot
deeper. At J.T.C., we are focused on two projects: 1) “The Battery Trail”, which
follows the long and convoluted trail of the metals, crisscrossing the globe
from the mine to the destination; and 2) the formation of a new version of
OPEC+, known as “Organization of Metal Exporting Countries”, or OMEC+. Are
