Rock ‘n’ roll heals everything!” The crowd cheered and the evening was
authenticated with a loud cry of “Freebird!” They played a lot of great songs,
but a chance to hear “For the Sun ” is always a religious experience. “This
morning my back was all fu*ked-up but now it’s better. They might even be up for
beatification too since Jeremy Weiderman remarked this evening and pointed to a
minor miracle in his life. They love playing live, and the crowd loves them
back. Not because they are fading away anytime soon, but because they don’t take
moments like this for granted. Perhaps the ying-yang would disagree, but I think
the metaphor fits because every set they perform feels like their last. They can
be best described as a thunderbolt of fun and energy up your ying-yang. After a
short intermission, Monster Truck was next. He had been channeling his inner
Sebastian Bach all night, which is not surprising since I Will Remember You was
one of the first songs he ever performed as a young man.Įveryone got to their
feet and expressed their gratitude. “That’s fu*king grunt power, right there”,
someone shouted after the song, and the lead singer, Justin Benlolo, couldn’t
help to laugh. Flies in the Honey was a crowd favourite. They powered through

small talk. The line-ups to grab cold beverages were reasonable too. People wore
masks and presented their proof of vaccination, but entry into the venue ran
smooth. On a cold Canadian night, before a sold-out crowd in Belleville, hope
sprung eternal and rock ‘n’ roll kicked some ass. Sometimes your bro ke n love
feels like a monster truck after a big wreck, but all kidding aside, last night,
at the beautiful Empire Theatre, live music made its triumphant return.

fleet, along with two additional armies: the Eighth and the Ninth Helghan army,
which contained approximately three million troops combined. The invasion began
in early August 2357, and Metrac was on Helghan at the time, until the Helghast
forces were defeated.Īfter the death of General Lente, Visari personally
entrusted Metrac in September, with the task of conquering the south of Vekta,
where the remaining Helghast troops were holding out, and he was given full
command of the Third Helghan Army. Metrac was in contact with the two ISA
traitors, General Stuart Adams and General Dwight Stratson. He was second in
command of the army, just below General Lente, who would lead the invasion.
Metrac was not heavily involved with the invasion plans of Vekta. He was also an
adviser to Visari, along with General Joseph Lente, Colonel Mael Radec, and
Metrac's good friend, Colonel Tendon Cobar. Metrac gained favor with Visari
(despite his human qualities which Visari would have hated) and became a
General. Visari had changed the military, and made it very powerful. He was a
follower of Visari, who was quickly rising to power. He invited Cobar to join a
group he had formed called the Colonial Guard. This left a message to the rest
of the Helghast army, there is no room for weakness. Metrac looked into the case
and it was true, so Metrac had the case called off. He joined the military and
proved to be a good soldier.Īfter being made Lieutenant General, he took special
interest in a case where a soldier named Tendon Cobar was on death row for
shooting his senior officer for being weak and stopping a training exercise
because a soldier had been wounded. He was a very different kind of Helghan, and
was born with distinctive human-like features. Metrac was born in the 24th
century on Helghan during the time of the great depression.

 * Sharing is available but not particularly intuitive.
 * That's said, there are a few things I'm not thrilled with: Overall, I've
   found Notion to be a powerful tool. It also comes with a bunch of moderately
   useful templates you can copy and customize, so you don't have to start from
   scratch. Notion itself does a great job with video training, and there are
   tons of helpful YouTube videos as well. I should also add that there is a
   wealth of information on using Notion out there.
 * Tables are easy to use but deceptively powerful.
 * Building new apps and prototyping new organizational tools takes minutes.
 * It's flexible enough to allow you to arrange things in ways that make sense
   to you.
 * It provides structure, but not too much structure.
 * There's a very generous free tier, and the pro tier is just $48/year.
 * You can drop in bookmarks, and YouTube videos and they (mostly) show up
   attractively on your page.
 * I've reworked my main Seamless Donations project page five or six times as
   the project has progressed.
 * You can easily modify the structure of a very populated page as you progress.
 * Headings can collapse, and you can put all that column structure under the
   collapsing arrows.
 * You can hide a ton of information under collapsing arrows, so you can slowly
   expand out to see everything.
 * You can have an embedded database, kanban chart, collapsing outline, and full
   embedded PDFs all on one page. This gives each page its own personality.
 * You can drop custom graphics at the top of each page with a very easy-to-use
   link to Unsplash.
 * This allows you to structure your information to be visually clear and crisp.
   Just drag something to the right to create multiple columns.
 * You can structure data on a page very easily.
