NERVES PROMPT MUSCLE TO RELEASE FACTORS THAT BOOST BRAIN HEALTH

U of I researchers examined the effect of nerve stimulation on muscle secretion
of brain-boosting factors. The nerves trigger the muscle to release hormones and
mRNA packages that foster gowth, connection between neurons in the brain.

Mobile teams bring COVID-19 vaccines to rural villages in Sierra Leone

MOBILE TEAMS BRING COVID-19 VACCINES TO RURAL VILLAGES IN SIERRA LEONE

The study found that immunization rates increased by about 26% in the trial
villages.On average, the cost was about $33 per person, making it a very
cost-effective intervention.

The Illinois men's and women's track and field teams finished the Big Ten
Outdoor Championships on Sunday (May 12). Junior Jessica McDowell cruised to
victory in the 400m dash (51.73) to earn gold and 10 team points.
