MOMAVET


MOBILITY MANAGERS FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN ALBANIA

MoMaVET aims at supporting this process, by increasing the capacity of the local
VET system and schools to develop and implement strategies for
internationalisation, through learning mobility

OBJECTIVE

Supporting the capacity of the Albanian Vocational Training System to open up to
internationalisation and to access mobility activities.




DURATION

36 Months : January 2023 - December 2025


GOAL AND SCOPE

1. Increase the capacity of VET providers in the fields of management,
innovation and internationalisation;
2. Support the exposure of VET school managers, policy makers and teachers to
approaches bringing the labour market and VET closer (through WBL during
mobility);
3. Improve the knowledge, managerial and pedagogical skills of VET teachers;
4. Integrate the input from VET teachers and learners into curriculum, profile
design and training reform;
5. Improve the level of competences, skills and employability potential of VET
learners by making them proxy to mobility activities, with special focus on key
competences, basic language, and ICT skills;
6. Pave the way to future, further cooperation across Albania and the EU through
joint initiatives. 


AREAS OF INTERVENTION:

· at a strategic, institutional, decision-making one, as it aims at providing
capacity building to NAVETQ, favouring the
development/improvement/testing/adoption of processes and procedures to include
international mobility as a part of regular VET curricula.
· at an operational level, as it aims at physically building a core team of up
to 20 teachers ready to perform through Erasmus+ in up to 10 VET schools (out of
the 35 existing throughout all Albania), and to provide them with learning tools
and chances.

- Albanian VET schools
- VET School teachers involved in the training as Mobility Managers
- Students of VET schools, and their families
- Partner organisations directly involved in project activities
