We came from out of state and my daughter loved it from day one! The
principal went above and beyond to make my daughters courses work for her.
She’s being challenged, and I love the opportunities the district in
University Place provides! Amazing school!

Our son completed his sophomore year here. The Band program was outstanding.
While we did run into cliquish/bullying issues in the younger schools (Drum
Intermediate), we didn't see any issues with our high school son who is a
little socially awkward. Academics seem rigorous and athletics are smoothly
run.

Sunset is a very supportive school. Staff go beyond expectation to create a
warm environment where students can learn and express themselves. There is a
strong emphasis on academics. However, my three children who have attended
have been given opportunities to grow and express themselves in ways unique
to each child.
