ST GEORGE STORAGE UNITS THAT ARE AS SECURE AS FORT KNOX.

We chose the name “Fort Knox Storage Units” because we wanted to emphasize our
commitment to keeping our facility safe and secure for our customers. Our

tall walls for privacy, and an iron gate with a coded security lock.

Our location also plays into our security features for two reasons. We are
conveniently close (2.6miles) to the St George Police Station, and the entrance

businesses, including the Ultra-wash car wash out in front that obscures our

Is there an on site security guard at Fort Knox Storage Units St George?

guard. Instead, our owner and staff perform daily, irregularly timed sweeps of
the facility, and actively monitor our array of security cameras for any
suspicious activity.

What security do the individual storage units St George have?

Our storage units St George are designed with only one, spacious entrance which
is covered by a metal, roll-down door. This door is secured by a padlock
provided by the customer.

Can I access my storage unit at any time?

Our storage units St George are available to access from 6AM to 10PM at night.
Special access can be granted upon request.  Access Codes for the gates are
shared exclusively with our customers and staff, and we allow our customers to
provide their own padlock so that they can have access to their property
whenever they need to.

We have found that allowing the customer to be in charge of their own padlock
adds a personal sense of responsibility in the care of their unit, as well as a
stronger sense of trust in us. As well, by having each customer be personally
responsible for their key we remove the possibility of one criminally-minded
individual getting ahold of a key ring and having access to the property of many
people.

A personal padlock is a great security feature because its keys won’t be branded
with the name of the storage company, or have the unit number on it. In the
event that a key is lost or stolen, there is little to indicate which of the
many padlocks in the world it belongs to.

Should I invest in an expensive lock?

While getting an expensive lock isn’t necessary it is important to remember that
cheap locks are usually made from cheaper materials. Your lock is an investment,
and a key feature in keeping your belongings safe. We recommend doing some
research and reading some reviews about how others have felt about their choice
of lock with their storage units St George before making a purchase.

I don’t know which padlock to get, does Fort Knox Storage Units have any
suggestions?
