CITY ESTABLISHES NEW OFFICE OF CLIMATE ACTION
The Alexandria City Council has authorized $1.85 million to establish an Office
of Climate Action to respond to the ongoing climate crisis, which continues to
impact the well-being of our community.
TRAVEL ALTERNATIVES DURING METRO SHUTDOWN
Two large Metro projects will impact rail service in Alexandria during portions
of 2022 and 2023. The City is working with Metro to mitigate disruption and help
residents and visitors make travel plans during these periods.
