WEB3BB TOKYO
IS ONE OF THE LARGEST WEB3 COMMUNITIES IN JAPAN

Our goal is to bridge Japan and the world by providing a platform for people to learn and discuss the core ideas of web3. We have had numerous global and local speakers join us at our events, from major Japanese brands along with key web3 players that the world is yet unaware of.

We will support companies to grow as a whole by sharing knowledge and case studies that are necessary for companies to enter the NFT and web3 businesses.

web3 has a fast pace of change. By setting up a regular community that meets once every three months, we can learn the latest domestic/international trends and case studies, and provide opportunities to utilize them in our own businesses.

This will be the fourth time the event will be held. So far, we have had more than 2,000 people that have participated.

The year-end finale in December since last year's launch. With support from enthusiastic supporters, and unraveling the stories of top overseas speakers, we were able to begin conversations on how Japan should move forward.

What we learned was that "the world still has no answers! Japan still has a chance to aim for the world's No. 1."

No one in the world knows the answer

There is a question that I always ask during interviews with speakers around the world. The reply is always, "I don't know what will happen next." What I think is wonderful about them is that they don't just don't do something because they don't know what they are doing, but rather they take risks and take on challenges if possible. We often hear that "America is ahead". It may not be necessarily technological progress, but rather the idea of "taking risks to move forward" is progressing. By the time the market matures, the results will show a clear difference. Right now, the world is still in the trial and error phase. However, since Japan is still considered the world class in terms of content, we believe we have the chance to aim for the top in the world.

The technical side of web3 is still developing

When talking about web3, Metaverse, NFT, DAO, various technical terms fly around. While talking to the top influencers around the world, we also learned that the story told in the media is an ideal image, and reality is still developing. The Metaverse does not yet exist, and there are still many aspects to be discussed at the global level, such as how to prove true ownership, what is the value of NFT, and how to distribute rights.

Japan must come together to challenge the world

At the previous summit, Mr. Joichi Ito said, "In the United States, teaching web3 to people who do not understand it is a high hurdle, so there is a tendency for only the people who understand it to progress." As long as the conversations are based in English, there will be a lag in information. When holding this summit, we conducted various hearings with board members and participants. It seems that everyone is facing challenges in obtaining the latest information on web3 in Japan. Information is changing rapidly. It was announced that all overseas NFT events such as NFT LA in Los Angeles, Miami, and Dcentral in Austin will be held ahead of schedule. In order for Japan to not to miss out on this opportunity, it is necessary for Japan to come together. We hope to see you all there.
