HELLO, Z-LIBRARY COMMUNITY!

Today, we are thrilled to share some exciting news from our library. Our team is
constantly working hard to improve the website, applications, and features. Let
us take you through our latest updates!




NEW VERSION OF DESKTOP APP

The newest version of our Desktop App is now available for both Windows and
Linux (for MacOS it will be available later). It has undergone a comprehensive
redesign and includes numerous new features.




MENU

The location of the menu has changed, and now it can be found on the left side
of the screen. The menu contains all the main items (Search, Booklists,
Favorites etc.)




TABS

An important change, in our opinion, is the ability to open each book or page in
a new tab. If the number of tabs exceeds the space on the panel, additional tabs
can be found in the drop-down menu under the arrow at the top.




USER PROFILE AND NEW SHORTCUT BUTTON

As you may have noticed, the design of the top panel has been completely
updated. Now, from it you can get to Your profile, access profile settings, and
view navigation buttons.

In our previous post we began to share updates about user profiles. So, we are
moving forward with it and taking a next step. Now you can write your bio, add
your interests, and so on. All of this can be done in the Edit Profile - Public
Profile section.

The shortcut button is located on the top panel. It provides access to various
hidden features, including navigation, projects, and links to our channels.




ONLINE READER

We didn't just updated the launcher, but made significant improvements to the
online reader as well. One of the most notable updates is the ability to save
your reading position. Now, you can close the book without worrying about losing
your place. The next time you open the book, you'll be able to continue reading
right where you left off.

❗️Tip: For now, this feature works within a single device. Cross-device saving
will be available later.



The second important enhancement is that you can now report bugs and issues
related to the reader. The bug button can be found in the lower right corner.



Moreover, we’ve also made visual updates to the toolbar and finalised the
full-screen mode.




PROMO CODES

We are delighted to share some more exciting news with you! We are launching
Promo Codes, and you can find them by following our updates and news. The first
promo code is available right here: ZLIBRARY_FOREVER. Have you received your
Premium yet?




FUTURE PLANS

We read your messages and we are really trying to make most of your suggestions
come true. In the near future, we plan to announce the following updates:

 * Increase the availability of the app worldwide;
 * Add a dark theme option for the app;
 * Create a notification system for various events;
 * Add a download progress bar.
