world-renowned coffee brand, Nescafé, certainly follows suit, synonymous around
the world with quality coffee products. We’ve been fortunate enough to produce a
diverse range of content across social media platforms for Nestlé and its
various sub brands, with Nescafé one of the more prominent in the stable.

Buynd represented an exciting opportunity to work with a new company operating
in a pioneering space in South Africa: the fashion aggregation E-commerce arena.
Drawing data and product listing from numerous fashion brands and E-retailers,
Buynd needed to stand out as its own independent entity, whilst not
overshadowing the individual fashion brands it housed. We were tasked not only
with shaping their social media presence and visual identity, but also crafting
unique, engaging content for use across their platforms.

Nando’s may lead the way in terms of tongue-in-cheek chicken peddlers in the
social media space, but Barcelos was ready to claim the crown, and approached us
to help them find their voice in this highly competitive arena. Through

engineering services company, Babcock, we were required to exercise the utmost
due diligence, thorough research, and precise, methodical craft in our writing.

The scope of the project was somewhat intimidating, with dozens of web pages and
a considerable depth of detail required on each, but thanks to our conscientious
process and exceptionally talented writers, the final product was delivered on
time and to the highest standard, resulting in an utterly impressed client.

The Shave Union presented an exciting opportunity to really have fun with our
tone and approach, for a quirky, spunky brand that leans into humour and wit
across its communication channels. In short, this was a writer’s dream!

We wrote all the web copy across the site, crafting a playful, engaging, and
relatable web experience for the progressive digital denizen.

ZUKI

As animal lovers (who isn’t?) we relished the chance to create all the web copy
for Zuki, an exciting ecommerce retailer offering a broad range of pet products.
Zuki partners with numerous other pet brands that feature on their site, so the
challenge lay predominantly in finding the balance between the partner brands’
tone of voice and Zuki’s distinctive communication style. The results speak for
themselves, in a crafted, engaging website experience.

imagination”, to speak to recipe diversity. From this, we extrapolated the key

NESTLÉ PLANT BASED DECK

As the vegan revolution marches inexorably on, the world’s biggest brands are
flocking to cater to this progressive demographic and infuse their product lines
with a tinge of green. For Nestlé’s foray into the plant-based world, we were
tasked with developing a full creative campaign for the digital space, that
spoke not only to the nutritional and health benefits of a plant-based approach,
but the ethical imperative for these products – without becoming preachy or
condescending to those not already on the train.

MAGGI OPEN UP THE KITCHEN

 

One of SA’s most beloved instant food brands, MAGGI, set out to turn the kitchen
into a truly inclusive space for even the most inept chefs, and this began with
an internal rollout campaign. We were required to craft every element of this
campaign, from creative concept to mechanic, execution ideas, look and feel, and
more, creating a truly holistic internal communication campaign for the MAGGI
team.

The modern consumer lives a chaotic life fueled by copious amounts of caffeine;
so, wouldn’t it be great if you could double your dose when you need it most and
get twice the kick from your cuppa? This is the proposition behind Nescafé 2x
Caffeine, and we created a series of radio ads to speak to this all-action,
high-energy double dose for the doers!

The Eastern Cape’s Bumb’ingomso public health initiative was centered around
providing sexual health education, resources and support, and career training
and opportunities for teenage girls in the province. We were tasked with
