What is Alts by adidas?

ALTs is adidas genesis project enabled via blockchain technology It is your
access pass to a range of different benefits powered by adidas:

- early access to physical and virtual product
- access to tickets for events and experiences
- a stake in the ALTs ecosystem

Anyone who owns an ALT will get their very own profile picture / Avatar. To be
exact: 1 out of 30.000 unique virtual identities. This is a virtual identity you
can represent and flex to your friends across different social platforms. What
one's virtual identity looks like is determined by one's interaction with the
brand through a variety of different narrative chapters.

In Chapter 2 the ALTs could collect their facial traits from the Vending Machine
with the help of the Rift Valley Motel Coins. The Vending Machine is closed!
Over 25.000 facial traits were collected.

Which traits can be swapped?

All traits attached to your ALT can be swapped, including Special traits and
Re-rolls


Can you swap traits within different rarity levels?

Yes, you can swap a common trait for a special trait, if someone agrees.


How many traits can be exchanged within one swap?

The maximum number of traits you can offer or receive is 3


Does the amount of traits have to be the same for both sides of the swap?

No, you can, for example, swap 2 common traits for one rare trait.


What are general restrictions of swapping?

- Maximum 10 traits per ALT
- Maximum 4 rare traits per ALT
- Maximum 3 Epic or Special traits per ALT


What are swapping points?

Swapping points are needed to perform any swapping action in the swapping tool


Can I trade swapping points?

No, swapping points are not on the blockchain and cannot be traded or
transferred.


How can I get swapping points?

- To start with, Each ALT which has participated in the vending machine at least
once (has at least one trait assigned) will receive for free 2 swapping points.
- You can add more swapping points by either using your left-over Rift Valley
Motel Coins, or purchase swapping points using ETH or Apecoin.


How many swapping points do I need for a swap?

- Create or Accept Swap: 1 swapping point
- Move traits between ALTS: 2 swapping points


Can I cancel a swap I created?

Yes, you can cancel the swap at any time. However, if someone accepts the swap
in the meantime, your cancellation might fail.


Do I get my swapping points back when I cancel a swap?

No, swapping points are non-refundable. You will lose your swapping point.


I didn’t participate in previous chapters. Can I still start swapping?

Yes! You can start swapping as long as you have at least one ALT in your wallet.
You will, however, have to purchase swapping points and start your first swap
with a WETH offer.


Do I need to send a trait in order to receive one in a swap?

No, you can also use WETH in return for a trait


If I want to offer WETH with my swap, can I still add 3 traits as well?

No, every swap has 3 slots on each side. WETH takes one slot, so you could only
add 2 traits to the offer.


Are there any gas fees when swapping?

Swaps between traits do not incur gas fees. If you use WETH in your swap, it
will trigger on-chain transactions and hence gas fees will incur.


Can I see my traits on my NFT in Rarible or OpenSea?

Yes, as soon as the metadata is uploaded, you will be able to see your traits
connected to your ALT.


Do all traits have their own rarity?

Yes, the vending machine will give you a common, rare or epic trait, that have
different rarity ranges.


But I am not happy with my traits, am I stuck to them?

No, we will introduce a swapping system for certain traits, which will open
after the vending machine closes.


What if I only have 1 or 2 coins and can’t fill all the categories?

On PFP reveal empty trait categories will be filled with a random trait &
RARITY.


What is a reroll trait?

Did someone say re-roll? By luck, one will receive a re-roll container instead
of a trait. This can be used post PFP reveal to re-roll any trait on your
Avatar.

- If you use 10 coins on your ALT 1 will be a guaranteed re-roll
- Max 3 re-rolls per alt


What is an ALT[er] Ego?

An ALT[er] Ego is the first trait for your ALT by adidas in the transformation
to your identity / PFP.


How many ALT[er] Egos will there be?

There will be 8 different ALT[er] Egos with different rarities.


What utility do I get with these 8 different traits?

In addition to utility available to every ALT, there will be exclusive utility
that is determined by your ALT[er] Ego to provide further benefits tailored to
your interests.
