I am passionate about providing practical and effective treatment that serves the individual as a whole person. I integrate a variety of approaches and the use of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Social Cognition Intelligence Training, Motivational Interviewing, Mentalization, Prolonged Exposure, and Positive Parenting among others. Furthermore, I developed a treatment modality, ATILEM® Therapeutic Treatment Frame, which focuses on helping to alleviate duress in individuals experiencing complex interpersonal challenges. I also incorporate real-world experiences (social, cultural, and environmental influences) to promote confidence and personal empowerment.
