ABOUT THE ORB

Up until now, much of the NFT space has concerned itself primarily with art,
pictures, jpegs and galleries. Orbs are different. Orbs are usable 1-of-1 NFTs
that belong in inventories, not in galleries. They are for usage, not display.
Conceptually, an Orb is a precious item that belongs in your magic item bag.
Technically, the Orb is a modified ERC-721 on Ethereum that manages ownership
functions through auctions and a Harberger tax system.

I, Nic Carter, swear to honor my Orb as long as I am able, or until it is
retired. I shall answer any permissible question dutifully to the best of my
abilities – as long as answering does not bring me into conflict with the law or
my ethical code, or compromise myself or others. The totality of my aggregate
knowledge is at your disposal. This is my Orb, and I shall bear no other Orbs of
this kind under the reign of this Orb. The blockchain bears my witness.


ORB TERMS OF SERVICE

I will answer questions to the best of my ability according to the schedule
defined by the Orb contract, subject to the clear constraints defined here and
in the Oath. While I pledge to answer reliably, I reserve the right to refuse to
answer any question.

The intended use of the Orb is to surface knowledge, expertise, insight,
analysis, and opinions. I will most likely not answer questions about my
personal life, location, and friends and family. I will not answer questions
about active portfolio companies. I will not answer any questions that require
me to disclose nonpublic or privileged information. I will discuss investments
and investment strategies, but I will not discuss my personal portfolio or that
of Castle Island. I will not answer questions which pose a legal risk or
endanger me, the asker, or anyone else.

You may use the Orb to obtain feedback regarding a startup pitch but holding my
Orb is no guarantee that I will consider a specific investment.

The question you ask should be self-contained as I make no guarantees that I
will click on links or read long passages of text to understand what you’re
asking. You may reference text and other sources if you think it’s likely I have
read them, but you cannot link me a document I’ve never seen before and ask me
to review.
