UPDATE: PETRO-CANADA NETWORK OUTAGE



Suncor Energy, parent company to Petro-Canada, experienced a cyber security
incident causing an inability to make purchases at retail fuel stations using a
credit or debit card impacting Petro-Canada’s entire retail network. Cardlock
cards are not impacted. Suncor Energy is investigating and working to resolve
the incident.

Element recommends drivers continue leveraging our Supplier Locator to find
alternate fueling locations until the issue is resolved and plan their routes
accordingly.

We continuously monitor vehicle supply chain volatility caused by residual
effects of the pandemic and update our clients with critical information as is
becomes available.

FUEL STATIONS AND MAINTENANCE SHOPS



Fleet drivers should use our Supplier Locator to find fuel stations and repair
shops in their area. In the event of natural disasters and other unforeseen
circumstances, fuel stations and maintenance shops may close or adjust their
hours. Check the last updated information under details. Those with updates over
24 hours old are likely not viable options. 


TRUCK & BUS REGULATION COMPLIANCE DEADLINE (U.S.)



Effective January 1, 2023, the California Air and Resource Board (CARB) will
require diesel trucks and buses in participating states and with a gross vehicle
weight rating (GVWR) greater than 14,000 pounds to reduce exhaust emissions by
meeting particulate matter (PM) filter requirements and upgrade to a 2010 or
newer engine model year (EMY).
