NOT SURE WHAT ‘FLASHPACKING’ IS ALL ABOUT?

Put simply, flashpacking is a mix of backpacking and luxury travel. It has the
independent vibe of backpacking with the budget (and mindset!) to allow for some
splurges along the way.

There will be family-friendly budget and mid-range hotels or hostels (or places
like Center Parcs), along with the odd boutique hotel or nice Airbnb thrown in.
And whilst there could be a 2nd class rail trip or a long bus ride, there’s just
as likely to be car hire, taxis or short flights.

We love the advantages of independent family travel, and like to mix things up.
