The 4th Annual Private Equity US Fall Forum is the leading West Coast
investor-centric meeting for LPs investing in private markets.

The forum brings together investors, fund managers, and advisers for a two-day
meeting to discuss sectors, due diligence, and private equity investment
opportunities in the US and around the world.

The investor-focused forum will bring together US and international pension
funds, foundations, endowments, fund of funds, family offices, wealth managers,
consultants, and sovereign wealth funds interested in direct research on private
investment opportunities.

Session topics cover the entire spectrum of private equity investments, from
sector-specific sessions on venture capital to discussions on global buyout
opportunities and round-tables of leading global institutional investors
discussing their specific investment appetites.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Rich Lawson, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder, HGGC

Mr. Lawson is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of HGGC.
Based in Palo Alto, California, HGGC is a leading private equity firm with over
$4.3 billion in cumulative capital commitments and oversees portfolio companies
that employ more than 65,000 employees globally. Over its history, HGGC has
completed platform investments, add-on acquisitions, recapitalizations and
liquidity events with an aggregate transaction value of over $25 billion. Prior
to leading HGGC, Mr. Lawson established predecessor private equity funds
Huntsman Gay Capital Partners in 2007 with industrialist Jon M. Huntsman and
Robert C. Gay, as well as Sorenson Capital in 2002 with medical products pioneer
James LeVoy Sorenson. Mr. Lawson received his B.A. from Amherst College and his
M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.


John Toomey Jr., Managing Director, Executive Committee, HarbourVest Partners

Mr. Toomey is a Managing Director of HarbourVest Partners, where he serves on
the firm’s two-member Executive Management Committee, acts as the chief
executive officer, and serves on the firm’s four-member Global Investment
Committee. He first joined HarbourVest in 1997 as a member of the direct
investment team and has been a member of the secondary investment team since
2003. John’s previous experience includes an analyst role at Smith Barney in the
Advisory Group focusing on M&A and corporate restructurings. John received a BA
(cum laude) in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard University in 1995 and an MBA
from Harvard Business School in 2001, where he was awarded the Loeb Fellowship
for outstanding achievement in finance.


Jean-Pierre Conte, Chairman & Managing Director, Genstar Capital

Mr. Conte is a business leader, philanthropist, policy entrepreneur and Chairman
& Managing Director of Genstar Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity
firm investing in growth industries including life sciences, financial services,
industrial technology and software. A graduate of Colgate University and Harvard
Business School, J-P joined Genstar Capital in 1995, and within three years he
was leading the firm. Since 1995, the firm has acquired 66 platform companies
with $18.3 billion of revenue and 455 strategic add-on acquisitions with another
roughly $20 billion in revenue. Under J-P’s stewardship, Genstar Capital has
grown from $100 million to a fully functioning and distributed partnership with
five senior partners who have worked closely together for up to 15 years, 60
professionals and over $17 billion of committed capital.
