NEW HAVEN COUNTY RESTORE


The ReStore is a donation based retail store open to the general public. All
proceeds from the ReStore benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater New Haven.
Your dollars fund the building of Habitat homes in New Haven County. Thank you
for supporting your local community and helping us to build strength, stability,
and self-reliance through shelter!

SHOP THE RESTORE

The ReStore has a variety of items for sale including furniture, appliances,
cabinets, building materials, flooring, plumbing items, lighting, home decor and
much more ! New items arrive every week. Stop by often to see our selection.


STORE HOURS

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

If you are buying a glass, marble, and/or heavy piece of furniture please make
sure you have help to move the item into your vehicle.


DONATE TO THE RESTORE

The ReStore sells new and gently used furniture, appliances, lighting, cabinets,
vanities, and other household-related items. The ReStore provides an
environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable articles out
of the waste stream while providing funding for Habitat’s community improvement
work.


MORE ABOUT DONATING

 * Small items like tools, dishware, and decorative items may be delivered
   directly to the ReStore during regular business hours. Furniture and other
   large items may be dropped off only after items have been approved and an
   appointment has been arranged by our ReStore Donation Coordinator. 
 * Large donations may be picked up by our donation truck within New Haven
   County, Clinton, and Killingworth.
 * To inquire about a donation drop off or pick up please contact us by text at
   (203) 800-5517 or email at Restore@habitatgnh.org. Please include photos of
   the items you would like to donate, if you would like to drop off or pick up,
   and what town the items are located in.

VOLUNTEER AT THE RESTORE

Volunteering at the ReStore is a great way to support Habitat’s mission to build
safe, affordable homes with families in our community. Volunteers work every
aspect of the ReStore including customer service, sorting donated goods,
organizing furniture displays, and cleaning of the store. Volunteers with
experience in retail and basic appliance and furniture repair are particularly
needed.

You can also go directly to Volunteer Up, our online registration system, and
sign up for a date. Half-day and full-day volunteer shifts are available
everyday.
