THE CHALLANGES

Endodontics is a very difficult discipline. Various scientific articles like
that of Franck paqué allow us to study In detail the root canal anatomy and see
how daunting a task it may be to achieve adequate cleaning of the root canal
system.


WHY THE DIFFERENCE?

Achieving high quality results and good predictability in Endodontics is a
matter of patience, calm, open mindedness, and profound immersion in one’s work.
It is an art, an art that involves the use of very intricate techniques and
tools, the understanding of foundational biologic principles and a particular
mindset.
In our day and age of micro-invasive, conservative and sometimes even
regenerative treatments, high level treatment in Endodontics has become a
cornerstone of good clinical practice. For those interested in making a real
difference in the oral health of their patients, through maintaining the natural
dentition, we invite you to join our growing community.




PURPOSE OF THIS SITE

The goal of this website is to share clinical cases from my personnal practice,
limited almost exclusively to Endodontics. Here, I will share detailed
explanations of my thought process and clinical techniques.


ABOUT ME

I am a dentist trained in the university of Geneva, switzerland. I have the
position of referral endodontist in a growing clinic in the french speaking
region of switzerland. For the past two years I have placed a heavy emphasis in
Endodontics, after developing very specialized techniques working with Dr.
Bernard Thilo in Pully, by the lake Leman.




DR. BERNARD THILO

Dr. Thilo was the only Swiss accredited specialist in Endodontics in the French
speaking part of switzerland, previous president of the Swiss Society of
Endodontics (SSE) and at the end of his 40 years career. Having had a stroke, he
couldn’t practice anymore. Even though he maintained his sharp and intelligent
mind, he needed a pair of hands and I was privileged to be in that position for
a year.


OUR MISSION

Our mission as endodontists is most meaningful, as compared with other dental
specialties. It is founded on 2 pillars:

 * Alleviating dental pain
 * Maintaining the beautiful, elegant and intricate dental organ

Achieving this mission not only requires a set of specialized equipment, but an
equally particular set of mental and clinical skills.
From your behaviour and the feelings you transmit to your patient, to the way
you negotiate a glyde path, mastery demands great amounts of training. This
process can be accelerated, and breakthroughs achieved with the help and counsel
of passionate colleagues.
The training program and visiting doctor arrangements can help you in obtaining
such assistance in your clinical journey.
