PRIVACY POLICY

We respect the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we
collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you interact with
our digital marketing platforms controlled by ChemoMetec A/S. Please review this
privacy policy carefully. If you do not want us to process your personal data as
described below, please do not access our sites.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time. When we
make changes, we update the “Last Updated” date of this Privacy Policy. Any
changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated
Privacy Policy on our sites.

 1.  Personal data
     1. We may collect information about you in several ways. The information we
        may collect on our digital marketing platforms includes:
        1. Personally identifiable information that you give us. This includes
           information regarding your name, shipping address, email address, and
           telephone number, and demographic information, such as your age,
           gender, location, and interests, that you voluntarily give to us or
           when you choose to participate in online chat. You are under no
           obligation to provide us with personal data of any kind, however
           refusing to do so may affect your experience of the sites and prevent
           you from using certain features.
        2. Derivative personal data. Information we automatically collect,
           including cookies, when you interact with our digital marketing
           platforms, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system,
           access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after
           accessing the sites.
        3. Personal data from your mobile device. Device information may also be
           collected via cookies, such as your mobile device ID, model, and
           manufacturer, and information about the location of your device if
           you interact with our digital marketing platforms from a mobile
           device.
        4. Data from contests and surveys. Personal data you provide to us when
           entering contests, giveaways and/or responding to surveys, including
           your name, job title, country, company, company contact information,
           area of expertise within life science.
 2.  How we use your personal data
     1. Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a
        smooth, efficient, and customized experience. We may use the information
        we collect from you for the following purposes:
        1. We will use your IP address, your browser type, your operating
           system, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly
           before and after accessing the sites to improve site user experience.
        2. We will use your email address, telephone number, and demographic
           information, such as your company contact information, area of
           expertise within life science that you voluntarily give to us or when
           you choose to participate in online chat, as well as mobile device
           ID, model, manufacturer, and information about the location of your
           device, to improve our responses to customer service requests.
        3. We will use your name, job title, country, company, company contact
           information and area of expertise within life science to administer a
           contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.
        4. We will use name, shipping address, email address, and telephone
           number to efficiently process your transaction.
        5. We will use your name, shipping address, email address, telephone
           number, company, company contact information and area of expertise
           within life science to send periodic emails regarding your order or
           other products and services.
        6. We will use your name and contact details to follow up with you after
           an initial correspondence via live chat, email or phone.
 3.  Legal basis for processing your personal data
     1. Legitimate interests. Under EU data protection laws, one of the lawful
        reasons where we can use or process your personal information is
        legitimate interests according to Article 6 (1) (f) of the General Data
        Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), when we assess that our interests
        override your interests and fundamental rights and freedoms. We have
        assessed that our legitimate interests override your interests and
        fundamental rights and freedoms when we use your personal data for the
        purposes stated above in items 2.1 (with the exception of items 2.1.3
        and 2.1.4), based on the following legitimate interests:
        
        • Preventing fraud
        • Maintaining network and information security
        • Indicating and preventing potential criminal acts or threats to public
        security
        • Enhancing, modifying, or improving our services
        • Identifying usage trends
        • Direct marketing (after you have requested or opted-in to receive such
        information and material)
        
        
        
        Before using or processing your data, we will carefully consider and
        balance any potential impact on you, your rights and freedoms, which is
        why we will only register minimal personal information.
     
     2. Necessary for entering into a contract with the data subject. Another
        lawful reason for processing your personal data under EU data protection
        laws is when it is necessary to take initial steps prior to entering
        into a contract or to fulfill a contract with you, cf. Article 6 (1) (b)
        of the GDPR. This is the case for the processes set out in items 2.1.3
        and 2.1.4 above.
 4.  Automated decision-making and direct marketing
     1. Automated decision-making. We may use automated decision-making in
        processing your personal data for some services and products. An example
        of this is our fraud prevention and detection efforts on our websites.
        You may request that we provide information about the decision-making
        methodology and ask us to verify that the automated decision has been
        made correctly. We may reject the request, as permitted by applicable
        law, including instances where providing the information would result in
        a disclosure of a trade secret or would interfere with the prevention or
        detection of fraud or other crime. However, generally in these
        circumstances, we will verify that the algorithm and source data are
        functioning as anticipated without error or bias.
 5.  Disclosure of your personal data
     1. We may share information we have collected about you in certain
        situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:
        1. Company subsidiaries. ChemoMetec A/S is the parent company to its
           subsidiaries ChemoMetec Inc., ChemoMetec SAS and ChemoMetec GmbH. To
           optimize the experience for our customers, relevant data will be
           shared by ChemoMetec A/S to its subsidiaries where appropriate.
        2. By law or to protect rights. If we believe the release of information
           about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or
           remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the
           rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information
           as permitted or required by any applicable law. This includes
           exchanging information with other entities for fraud protection and
           credit risk reduction.
        3. Transfer outside the EU/EEA. We may share your personal data with
           company subsidiaries or third parties, including our third party
           providers of IT services, who will have access to your data and
           process your personal data on our behalf. If a company subsidiary or
           third party provider processes your personal data outside the EU/EEA,
           this will take place under the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual
           Clauses or any other legal act or instrument that replaces the
           Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request a copy of
           the agreement regulating the transfer of personal data by forwarding
           an email to contact@chemometec.com
 6.  How long we keep your personal data
     1. We will keep your personal data for as long as is needed to fulfil our
        purposes of processing with a retention period of five (5) years, unless
        we are required under applicable law to keep your personal data for a
        longer period.

        under section 8 regarding Cookies.
 7.  Your rights
     1. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding how we process
        personal data related to you. If any of your personal data should be
        incorrect, you are entitled to have it rectified. You also have the
        right to request information from us regarding what personal data we
        process related to you and why, including obtaining a copy of your
        personal data. Regarding newsletters, you can manage your subscription
        at any time via a link that is included in all newsletters or email
        marketing we send you. The change has an immediate effect. You may also
        object to our processing of your personal data subject to direct
        marketing. Further, you may always issue a complaint with the
        supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data.

     1. We may use cookies, tracking pixels, and other technologies on our
        digital marketing platforms to help customize the sites and improve your
        experience.
        1. We use cookies to understand and save users’ preferences for future
           visits and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site
           interactions to offer better site experiences and tools in the
           future. We may also use trusted third-party services that track this
           information on our behalf.
        2. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can remove or
           reject cookies by editing your browser settings but be aware that
           doing so could affect the availability and functionality of our
           sites.

     1. We use Google Analytics to allow tracking technologies and remarketing
        services to analyze and track visitors’ site use, determine the
        popularity of certain content and better understand online behaviors.
        The data we collect via Google Analytics is anonymous and consists of
        information such as time, date and duration of page visits, location and
        device use. By accessing the sites, you consent to the collection and
        use of such information by Google Analytics. We do not transfer personal
        information to third-party vendors. However, if you do not want any
        information to be collected and used by tracking technologies, you can

     2. We use the lead generation service provided by Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam,
        The Netherlands, which recognizes visits of companies to our website
        based on IP addresses and shows us related publicly available
        information, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo
        places two first-party cookies for providing transparency on how our
        visitors use our website and the tool processes domains from provided
        form inputs (e.g. “leadinfo.com”) to correlate IP addresses with
        companies and to enhance its services. For additional information,

        you have an opt-out option. In the event of an opt-out, your data will
        no longer be used by Leadinfo

        information you provide to these third parties is not covered by this
        Privacy Policy, and we cannot guarantee the safety and privacy of your
        information. Before visiting and providing any information to any
        third-party websites, you should inform yourself of the privacy policies
        and practices (if any) of the third party responsible for that website,
        and should take those steps necessary to, at your discretion, protect
        the privacy of your information. We are not responsible for the content
        or privacy and security practices and policies of any third parties,
        including other sites, services or applications that may be linked to or
        from our sites.

        protect your personal data
     2. Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known
        vulnerabilities to ensure your visit to our sites is as safe as

        accessible by a strictly limited number of persons who have
        authoritative rights to such systems and are required to keep the
        information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information
        you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
     4. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not
        stored or processed on our servers.
     5. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information
        you provide to us, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and
        no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any
        interception or other type of misuse. Please be aware that despite our
        efforts, any information disclosed online can be vulnerable to
        interception and misuse by unauthorized parties.


CALIFORNIA ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (USA)

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and
online services to post a privacy policy. The law’s reach stretches well beyond
California to require any person or company in the United States (and
conceivably the world) that operates websites collecting Personally Identifiable
Information from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on
its website stating exactly the information being collected and those
individuals or companies with whom it is being shared.

In accordance with CalOPPA, we agree that users can visit our sites anonymously.
If our
Privacy Policy changes, any updates can be found on this page. You can change
your personal information by emailing us. Please note that we allow third-party
behavioral tracking.


FAIR INFORMATION PRACTICES (USA)

To adhere to Fair Information Practices, we will notify users via email within
seven (7) business days should a data breach occur.

We also abide by the Individual Redress Principle which requires that
individuals have the right to legally pursue enforceable rights against data
collectors and processors who fail to adhere to the law. This principle requires
not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also

CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS ACT (USA)

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law,
permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us,
once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal
information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes
and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal
information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California
resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in
writing to us.
