With air up® I just drink plain water?
Yes, that's right. Thanks to our Scentaste™ technology, all you drink is plain
water, but taste amazing flavors like Cherry or Peach. All through the power of
scent.

How long do the flavor pods last?
One pod flavors around 1.3 gallons of water. That’s 7 refills of our 22 oz
bottle, or over 14 cans of your (old) favorite drink. Rad! Assuming consumption
of 50 oz per day, a 3 pod pouch will last at least 10 days.
How intense is the flavor?

air up® isn’t juice or soda and we don’t taste like it either. Instead, we’ll
subtly flavor your water just enough to make it your new favorite beverage.

Are the ingredients natural?
Damn right! The scent of our pods is derived completely from natural ingredients
– think fruits, herbs and spices – and packed into a food-safe carrier
material. 

That means no artificial flavors and no regulated allergens. Oh, plus 0 calories
and 0g of sugar too 🙌
How do our brains interpret taste?
The majority of what we taste comes from our olfactory receptors (part of our
anatomy that plays a central role in our sense of smell).

Retronasal smelling is what makes everything we do possible, as it’s how we
‘bring flavour’ to plain water. Our bottles allow the 'flavoured’ air contained
within our pods to be consumed with every sip.

Your nasal receptors interpret this ‘flavoured’ air as the taste of water, even
though the water itself isn’t flavoured.
What exactly is in the pod?
The scents inside our pods come exclusively from natural ingredients. Fruits,
spices, herbs, that kind of thing. These scents are applied to an air-permeable
carrier material, or what we like to call ‘the fleece’.
Where do we get the ingredients from?
Whilst we can’t give away all our secrets, we can say that all our scents come
from a high-quality scent manufacturer, who extracts them from natural sources.
Our scent creation team then produces the most diverse and creative flavours
imaginable from these ingredients, and voila – a flavour pod is created!

Also, we’re very proud to confirm that our pods are suitable for our vegan and
vegetarian friends, too.
How do I prevent my bottle from leaking?
Our bottle has a pressure valve at the upper end of the mouthpiece, which allows
you to drink without stopping. To avoid leaking sip, don't tip! Just keep the
bottle upright as if you were drinking out of a glass with a straw. Water could
also leak out if the pod is not attached to the mouthpiece, or if the cap is not
tightly closed.
How to unlock the full potential of your pod?
You should hear air bubbles whirring away when drinking with the pod activated.
This is a sign that the pod is working!

1. Check that you have assembled your bottle as shown in this video.

2. Ensure your pod is activated (pulled up to the lip).

3. Make sure the straw is inserted all the way into the mouthpiece.

If, after checking the above three points, the pod is still not working, follow
the next two steps:

4. Try another pod to check if it’s a defective pod or something in your bottle.

5. Completely disassemble and reassemble the bottle again.
