Join us today !! ABOUT US The British Nigeria Law Forum is a vibrant professional organisation recognised by leading legal and professional bodies in the UK and Nigeria. It is made up of practicing lawyers and students in the UK and in Nigeria. It provides business, networking and educational opportunities for its members in both jurisdictions. Established in 2001, the association has a long and successful track record of staging professional and social events designed to develop and support the careers of its members. It is also designed to connect its members in the UK with their counterparts in Nigeria and vice versa and has become a networking forum in which cross-border business opportunities are created. BNLF is a bilateral organisation that serves as a vehicle where lawyers and other interested parties from both jurisdictions can communicate with each other to promote legal ideas as well as foster mutually beneficial relationships. CRIMINAL LAW NETWORK The Criminal Law Network consists of BNLF members with an interest in criminal law or who practice predominantly or exclusively in that field. Our aim is to keep our members updated on current trends, important developments and the effect of changes to criminal legislation on professional practice and the impact on the community. FAMILY LAW NETWORK The Family Law Network is a forum for BNLF members who specialise in family law. Its mission is to assist busy practitioners and students with up to date knowledge of practice and procedure in a complex area of law and litigation. IMMIGRATION LAW NETWORK The Immigration Law Network consists of a group of BNLF members who specialise in immigration law. The objective is to create a resource centre for members to interact and provide up to date knowledge of practice and procedures in immigration law. JUNIOR LAWYER'S DIVISION The Junior Lawyers Division (BNLF JLD) is a division of BNLF aimed at supporting junior lawyers and students, and solidifying links between the junior section of the British and Nigerian legal professions. WOMEN'S NETWORK The Women’s network commenced in 2017 and consists of 25 Foundation members who make decisions.
