PERMANENT MAKEUP TREATMENTS

LIPS - BLUSH EFFECT

Soft lips contour with colour blending into your natural shade of lips.

This technique is perfect to achieve a natural, fresh and young look on your
lips. Subtle and transparent technique to enhance your lips.

The blush effect is achieved by blending two or more shades of pigment, usually
a pink or red base color with a lighter, more subtle shade.
The result is a soft, natural-looking tint that enhances the lips' natural color
and adds a youthful, healthy glow.

Can be done with any colour from the nudes and baby pink to more vibrant or
darker shades.

LIPS - LIPSTICK EFFECT

It is ideal for those who always wear lipstick and want to improve the symmetry
and colour of the lips.

Perfect treatment if you feel your lips have lost contour and colour throughout
the ageing process.

One of the main benefits of the lipstick effect permanent makeup is its
long-lasting nature. Unlike traditional lipstick, which needs to be reapplied
frequently throughout the day, permanent makeup can last for years with proper
care and maintenance.
This makes it an ideal choice for people who want to look their best at all
times without the hassle of frequent touch-ups.

Another advantage of this procedure is that it allows for precise color and
shape customization. The pigment can be mixed to create a wide range of shades,
from subtle neutrals to bold, statement-making colors.

LIPS COLOUR NEUTRALISATION

Lip neutralisation is a treatment for those with cool, or dark-toned lips
(blue/purple/grey/brown).

It is a procedure often performed on clients with darker skin tones or those
whose lips have darkened over time due to weather conditions, hyperpigmentation,
or underlying medical issues.
Perfect for those who want to achieve a consistent and uniform colour on both
top and bottom lips. Neutralisation is the process of turning a darker lip into
a lighter and/or neutral colour which gives us more colour options for the final
result.

To achieve satisfactory results multiple sessions may need to be performed. For
this treatment, consultation appointments need to be scheduled prior to any
other booking.

EYEBROWS

Permanent makeup for eyebrows is a revolutionary technique that uses
micro-pigmentation to enhance the appearance of your brows. This technique is
perfect for those with sparse, uneven, or thin eyebrows who are tired of
constantly filling them in with makeup. Get ready for the everyday beauty and
convenience of your new perfectly filled-in, and balanced brows.

The process is safe, hygienic, and customizable to your preferences. We discuss
the shape and colour to fit your facial structure and preference.

One of the biggest advantages of permanent makeup for eyebrows is that it lasts
for years, eliminating the need for daily touch-ups. This makes it perfect for
anyone who wants to save time and effort in their daily makeup routine.
Additionally, the natural-looking results can boost your confidence and help you
feel more beautiful and self-assured.

Wondering which brow enhancement technique is right for you? Let's compare all
available techques.

NANOBROWS/HAIRSTROKE EYEBROWS

Have you heard about NanoBrows? If you're a fan of microblading or interested in
eyebrow enhancement, you're in for a treat. NanoBrows is the next level in
natural, stunning brows that are similar to microblading but with some exciting
advantages.

What are NanoBrows?
NanoBrows, also known as Hairstroke technique, is an advanced technique in
permanent makeup. Much like microblading, it's designed to enhance your eyebrows
by creating fine, hair-like strokes. Here's what makes NanoBrows remarkable:
- Precision: NanoBrows employ a specialized, ultra-fine needle that's even
thinner than those used in microblading. This means even more precise,
natural-looking hair strokes.
- Longevity: NanoBrows often last longer than microblading. You get to enjoy
your perfect brows for an extended period before needing a touch-up.
- Resilience: NanoBrows are known for their exceptional color retention. They're
less likely to fade over time, making them a fantastic choice for those with
active lifestyles or those who love the convenience of long-lasting beauty.
- Gentle on Skin: Unlike microblading, NanoBrows don't involve cutting the skin,
which can cause scars. This makes them a more skin-friendly option for many.

If you're considering enhancing your eyebrows or want to switch from
microblading to something even more advanced, NanoBrows could be your perfect
choice. Explore the world of NanoBrows, redefine your beauty, and enjoy the
effortless elegance of perfectly groomed brows every day.

POWDER EYEBROWS

With its soft, powdery finish, the Permanent Powder Effect is the ultimate
choice for achieving stunning eyebrows that stand the test of time. This
technique involves delicately depositing pigment in tiny dots, resulting in a
beautiful, shaded effect that mimics the appearance of softly filled-in brows.

The delicate pixelation at the front of your brows adds a touch of authenticity.
It seamlessly blends with your natural hair, giving you a soft and elegant look
that turns heads wherever you go.

COMBINATION EYEBROWS (POWDER AND HAIRSTROKE)

Imagine a brow transformation that seamlessly combines the softness of powder
brows with the precision of microblading, resulting in a delicate, pixelated
front that's both natural and sophisticated. Say hello to brows that frame your
face with a gentle touch, enhancing your beauty in the most subtle yet stunning
way!

The secret behind this ethereal look lies in the artful technique. I will create
soft, feathery strokes at the front of your eyebrows, mimicking the appearance
of individual hairs. These strokes are delicately pixelated, giving your brows a
soft, diffused effect that's incredibly alluring.

your desires and craft a flawless correction that aligns with your vision. Let's
turn any imperfection into a masterpiece!
- Cover-Ups: Have a previous tattoo or permanent makeup that doesn't resonate
with your current style? Fear not! Our Cover-Up technique artfully conceals
unwanted marks, giving you a fresh start with confidence. Witness the magic of
transformation!

Whichever treatment you choose, be assured that I always use the latest
techniques and highest-quality pigments to create customized and long-lasting
results. I will work with you to determine the perfect shape, color, and
technique to enhance your natural beauty.
Every permanent makeup treatment is a three-parts process  (learn more)

1. CONSULTATION

The first part of the process is a free consultation. This is normally done as
part of your initial treatment, but can be done separately if you prefer. I will
talk with you in great detail about the look you are trying to achieve and what
I might recommend to you. Once we have an idea of the look you are aiming for, I
draw a makeup with a pencil. These can be drawn on and adjusted 20 times if
necessary! I will never begin the tattoo process until you are completely happy
with what it's going to look like.

2. PERMANENT MAKEUP TREATMENT

Using a specialist facial tattooing machine, which works at a much lower
frequency than a standard tattoo machine, I gently apply pigment to the skin
using very fine needles. I will always work with you at this stage, giving you
breaks if you need them. The process normally takes about few hours, but it
varies from person to person depending on your individual requirements.
Immediately after a treatment you should expect the area to look 40-50% darker
than the colour you have chosen in consultation. This will start to fade after
3-4 days.

3. THE RETOUCH

A second appointment is needed 4-12 weeks after your first treatment. This is
usually a 60-90 minute appointment to add more pigment to the area where needed.
This is because as the area is healing, some parts may not hold pigment as well
as others and you may have a few patches that need more colour. This is
completely normal and everyone heals differently. Whatever the case, I always
advise you to come back for your completely free retouch.

FAQ

WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP?

Permanent makeup, also known as microblading, cosmetic tattooing or
dermapigmentation, is a cosmetic procedure that involves the application of
pigment into the dermis layer of the skin using a small handheld tool or
machine. The goal is to create a natural-looking makeup effect that can last for
several years, without the need for daily application of makeup. Permanent
makeup can be used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows, eyeliner, lips, and
even to camouflage scars or skin discolorations. It is a popular choice for
people who have busy lifestyles or who have difficulty applying traditional
makeup due to physical limitations or allergies.

HOW LONG DOES PERMANENT MAKEUP LAST?

Permanent makeup or semi-permanent makeup is exactly the same procedure and it
is not going to last forever. The pigment should stay visible in the skin from 1
to 5 years depending on many factors e.g. skin type, age, colour chosen,
technique. All pigments are fading in the skin over the time that is why a
maintenance procedure is advised to keep your permanent makeup looking fresh.
Usually it is between 12-18 months.

DOES PERMANENT MAKEUP HURT?

Most clients experience little to no discomfort during the permanent makeup
procedure, as a topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area
beforehand. Any discomfort experienced during the procedure is usually mild and
short-lived, and many people describe the sensation as similar to that of
getting a tattoo. However, some people may be more sensitive than others, and
may experience more discomfort. Your technician will work with you to ensure
that you are as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure.

IS PERMANENT MAKEUP SAFE?

Permanent makeup is generally considered to be safe. However, there are
potential risks and complications associated with the procedure, such as
infection, allergic reaction, and scarring. To minimize these risks, it is
important to choose a reputable and experienced permanent makeup artist who
follows proper hygiene and safety protocols. At Puella Beauty, I always provide
you with detailed aftercare instructions to help minimize the risk of
complications.

HOW LONG DOES THE PERMANENT MAKEUP PROCEDURE TAKE?

The length of the permanent makeup procedure varies depending on the area being
treated and the individual client. Generally, the procedure can take anywhere
from 1-3 hours to complete, with touch-up sessions typically taking less time. I
will work with you to ensure that you are comfortable and understand the
procedure before beginning.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AFTER MY PERMANENT MAKEUP APPOINTMENT?

After the procedure, the treated area may appear slightly swollen and red, but
this typically subsides within a few hours. It is important to follow the
aftercare instructions to ensure optimal healing and long-lasting results.
During the healing process, the pigment may appear darker or more intense than
desired, but this is normal and will fade over time. It is also important to
avoid exposure to the sun or other sources of UV light during the healing
process.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY PERMANENT MAKEUP APPOINTMENT?

To prepare for your permanent makeup appointment, it is important to avoid
consuming alcohol or blood-thinning medication, as well as avoiding direct
exposure to the sun or tanning beds for at least a week prior to the
appointment. It is also recommended to avoid waxing or plucking the area to be
treated for a few days before your appointment, as this can make the skin more
sensitive. You should also ensure that you have properly hydrated yourself and
eaten a healthy meal prior to the appointment to help ensure a smoother
procedure.

WHAT IS LIP NEUTRALISATION?

This type of lip tattooing corrects lips dark undertones (purple, blue, brown)
and counteracts them with complimentary colours to neutralise the lip tone.
Neutral base gives us more colour options for the final result.

HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED FOR LIP NEUTRALISATION?

To achieve the best result, more than 2 sessions may be required. That depends
on natural lip colour and desired outcome.

WHAT LIP TREATMENT IS BEST FOR ME?

Depending on what effect you are trying to achieve and what your natural lip
colour is, I am going to guide you with the right treatment. I recommend booking
a free consultation so we can discuss options.

MY LIPS ARE VERY DARK BROWN IN SOME AREAS. CAN I STILL HAVE A LIP BLUSH?

First we need to neutralise any cool and dark tones before applying the final
colour. Therefore, in this case the Lips Neutralisation is the treatment for
you.
