Zurich Investment Services Ltd is a multinational asset management boutique,
managing and advising primarily for private and institutional clients through
both listed and private equity strategies.




Our investment approach stems from the fundamental belief that genuine active
fund management can deliver meaningful outperformance over the medium to long
term. We believe the quality of our people and the culture that we foster are

Central to our investment process is the consideration of each company’s ability
to create and sustain long-term shareholder value. Our primary responsibility is
to our clients who entrust their funds to our management. We aim to protect and

We describe our investment process as ‘intelligent investing’, meaning that
investment decisions are made by people, not systems. Instead of creating
systems that deskill the job of the fund manager, our culture enables and
motivates the investment team to deliver something extra that systematic
processes can’t.

INVESTMENT PROCESS

ACTIVE MANAGEMENT

  

As active managers we aim to add value by finding and validating undervalued
stocks. In order to do this, we look at the fundamentals of a business - the
management, the business model, the products - and a multitude of other factors.
We look at their competitors and identify opportunities from mergers,
acquisitions and competitive advantage.

IN-HOUSE RESEARCH

  

Our fund managers and analysts have many years’ experience looking at the core
of businesses, assessing their financial statements and identifying the value of
a potential investment.

CONFIDENTIALITY

In our view, engagement with companies is most effectively held in confidence,
where the nuances of a particular governance issue can be explored openly, in a
longer term context and as part of a trusted dialogue.

Experience has taught us that private correspondence – rather than public
grand-standing – is much the best way to exert our influence and thereby gain
tangible results for our clients.
